Apparently, not every Spaniard goes along with Zapatero's gay marriage. Zapatero didn't even want to meet the pope, and was only dragged into it. He was scared of the booing. He's lucky he wasn't tomatoed.

This happened to Clinton in World Youth Day Denver, 1993. Plenty of people in the city park booed the big jumbotrons showing him when he met with the pope.

With Spain going to gay marriage acceptance, I see the rest of the EU going for it soon. I just noticed that in Europe when one of the main European countries (France, Italy, Germany, Italy or Great Britain) goes for something than they all follow soon after.
