Yes but the ones I have had have powered sugar not normal sugar on them, I like the taste of the courser sugar plus also our donuts if bought fresh are slightly crispy where dunkin donuts are doughier and not crispy.

I've known Krispy Kremes from spending our summers in northern Virginia since I was a little kid. Maybe it was the heat and humidity of a northern Virginia summer that made them not so palatable to me, lol. Several years ago Krispy Kremes debuted in New York City amid a lot of fanfare. They're ok, but I still much prefer Dunkins.

Our jelly donuts can have either powdered sugar or the coarser kind. All preferences!

What I think is more likely it was not on the printed schedule for security reasons I am sure the manager of the store knew and I expect he just told his staff to dress smartly as a VIP was visiting.

Once a month or more I'll stop and bring some home. But I love their coffee even more than their donuts. It would have broken my heart if G.W. had gone to a Starbucks.
No offense to kitkat, but I don't have to pay Starbucks to burn my coffee for me, I can manage that on my own. :o)

Re the owners though maybe they do dress in suits I would expect the local Macdonald manager in Ashford to wear one.

Usually the owners are either just stopping by, in which case they dress for whatever else they may be doing that day, or if they are helping out in the store, they where what staff in the store is supposed to wear. Franchises are pretty strict about what people in the franchise are supposed to look like.
If I saw a guy in a suit behind the Dunkin' Donuts counter, it would seem strange indeed.
