OMG...you little devil.....Chocolate glazed are my fav...especially warm.........several years ago when my mom was going to have hip surgery...my sister, bil and I stopped off at Krispy Creme before her surgery at O'dark thirty...we ate an entire box of hot donuts before we went to the hospital...we still had glaze around our mouths when we got to the hospital........everyday we took boxes to the nurses because my mom was not a very good patient we had to bribe them..;)

LOL. My mother usually gets her way with a well placed, " your blue tie would look really good with that and you don't need a sports coat". LOL, but my dad is not the most powerful man in the world either.

HEADS UP:

Tomorrow night the President and Laura will be the featured guests on Larry King . . . I think we should all plan to gather here for a live BIRTHDAY blog during the show. [FYI: Larry King airs on CNN (yuk!) at 9 PM EDT]

What do you think?!

I may be freepmailing you a lot. Hubby and I have intentionally taken us out of the main information loop. We're leaving two weeks from Monday for SE Asia and are concerned that someone may want to retaliate. This next year we'll be praying hard and communicating in general and neutral terms only.

Are you still looking for books to send to Jonathan? I found a box of Western paperbacks the other day--you can have 'em if you want 'em.

You know it's 10:30 PM here in the EST of the US and I can smell the bakery! I used to live near one. What a way to wake up!

I am not sure what you call caster sugar but we have 3 types of white sugar

normal granulated the coarsest one
caster which you use in cooking for sponge cakes

Icing (powdered) which you use for dusting cakes or making icing

Thank you for the ping-n-links :)

Republicans were actually handed a tremendous gift dramatically improving their chances to hold both chambers of Congress in the November elections.

And thank you, Dems--LOL!
