As we celebrate the 230th birthday of the United States of America, our president joined the ideological, and perhaps biological, descendants of those who fought to give us our freedom by creating this new nation. The president went to Ft. Bragg, North Carolina, to speak to and eat with the troops and their families (who gave him a birthday cake).
He will return to the White House for a July 4th celebration with family and friends. That will also serve as a birthday party for the President.
I like olive oil on spinach leaves. It was a recipe I saw on FNC.
In that recipe they used garlic which dad does not like and I am not overkeen on.
I just wash the spinach leaves, put a little pepper and then about tablespoon oil and give it a good shake and serve.
My 4th of July! puppy post was meant to have an ALL in it, oops!
Thank you Snugs! What a beautiful graphic for this special day.
Just popping by to say HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!
Yes, we're still home-schooling. Psychogirl graduates June 1, 2007..a year early. She'll concentrate on CLEP'ing out of general studies after that then go to college for her Junior/Senior year. At least that's the plan...you know how that goes. :o)
BTW--
***CSPAN will re-run President Bush's speech at Ft.Bragg today again tonight at 11:40 eastern***

"My mom would let me do anything I wanted too." is worth zero points in the game called whose Mom cared for them the most"
Truer words have never been spoken!
Homemom:
My kids (ages 17 and 14) let hubby and I know on a weekly basis that our 'abnormal' strictness is ruining their lives! Yet, they remain honor roll students, award-winning athletes, and school leaders with LOTS of friends -- no thanks to us of course!!
Please rethink your post #55.
Clinton. Probably, as a result of 100,000 new cops program, I had the misfortune of being targeted by a pretty blonde girl who was promoted from department store security to Detective. She couldn't think and had no experience, but it was affirmative action. The famous Bob Kerry blew me off when I contacted my senator, calling it a local legal matter. Local matters are resolved in federal court, you know. Thanks for asking.
Still do not really understand do you mean it similar to what our pubs do you order at the counter instead of waiting for a waitress to come to your table.
Wow .. she's a busy girl .. and keeping you on your toes as well, I bet. How great that she's so active and doing so many great things. Happy visit to DC.
