Morning AB all. Thanks for all you do and congrats for a great showing on last weeks top ten, much deserved.

Today will be Bill Bennett's day and deservedly so. He is on c-Span right now defending our values and few do it better.

One topic that came up, and again rightly so, was the leaking of state secrets by the press namely the NYT this time.

As a long time journalist we are taught to revere freedom of the pres which I do. This administration's dedication to that concept can hardly be challenged bearing in mind all the embedded journalists that have been allowed and other acknowledgments of the value of a free press.

However, freedom of the press during a time of war needs to be a different concept. A President, sec, of defense, Gen. or other leaders in time of war time judgments needs to be reepsected unequivocably.

When these leaders ask member of the press not to run stories, instead of demand that they stop these requests need to be obeyed without hesitation.

During a time of war there can only be a few leaders at the top, and last time I looked we do not want the NYT running the war. They need to obey like eveyone else.

Members of the press that do not comply with these requests need to be shut down as they were in WW II. There can be no compromise between a vague interpretation of what a free press is and the lives of our soldier fighting a viscous war.

This cannot be negotiated.

The bottom line is the welfare of the troops comes before the rights of the left wing press to continue their politicization of a war they don't like. We should not negotiate with the lives of our troops with a press hell bent on aiding and abetting the enemy.

LATE EDITION (CNN) : Reps. Peter King, R-N.Y., and Barney Frank, D-Mass.; Israeli Vice Premier Shimon Peres; chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erakat; NASA Administrator Michael Griffin; singer Tony Orlando.

Tony is a wonderful man. Peter King is so right on message. And, Isreal doesn't tip toe around terror. This should be great to watch.

Thanks for posting the "CAST" of these "TV shows," again this week.

Charles Schumer.......... Bill Keller.......... Arlen Sphincter........... Carl Levin........ John McCain........... Dianne Feinstein............ Barney Frank..........

Well.......... no late breakfast again without The Sunday Morning Barf Bag.

****

In fact it might require the THE BARF ALERT 1000 — What does it do?

The "Barf-Alert Model 1000" connects to your tv, once the unit has been activated it scans a couple of minutes into the future for "puke inducing" content. Should such content be found it will promptly flash the words "BARF ALERT" in big bold letters across your screen. Never again will you puke all over your floor, no more messy clean up!

If you act now, you can get the "BARF ALERT" auto-channel changer free! Yes, that's right we said free!

Very hard to watch. McCain and others think our soldiers and the terrorists should both come under the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

He and others apparently believe the way to solved the terrorist problem is declare them part of our military. This is going to be a tough sell but who knows what the RINOS and RATS will do. McCain's proposal fits the egalitarian goal of leftists so it should have support from the moonbat left at the very least.

We now have three types of RATS: (1)Cut and run; (2)Cut and walk; (3)And now, cut and talk.

VP Cheney received a standing ovation at the Pepsi cola 400. And the MSM remains puzzled over this and other issues.

On the reliable Sources panel, Hugh Hewitt did a devastating job of skewering the MSM who publish what should remain secret for the successful prosecution of the war we are enduring. I'm sure he will link a transcript to his website later.

It's tough keeping up with the thread in the Western time zones, but McConnell and Schmuckie just finished their spot with Andrea on Meet the Mess currently airing in the high desert of Utah. As usual, Mitch was reserved while making some good points, but I wish he would have pounded home the point he made about the "specifics" being the problem with the NYT disclosures on the SWIFT program. It's the specifics stupid/Ms. Greenspan.

First thing I must note. We have yet another kook on MTP.

Because by me Schumer is a kook. Although there IS a Republican counterpart this week so there's some progress.
