If all Brits were like you they would be decidedly more Passionate about their Flag. You are very passionate about America(much more than many Born Americans), and still keep your loyalty and Love for GB. You even respect Tony Blair even though you do not care for him. You have surprised me many times by knowing far more about America than the Average American does.

Are libs serious about fighting a war with terrorists
or
are libs having too much fun
forcing Bush to play "Mother May I"?

It would certainly make for an interesting look at who'll be sitting in the crowd during the finals if Germany makes it.

The French have been known to get very nervous any time Germans party too loudly. :o)

I think you should call out the minutemen and form a musket line in front of their house.

Regarding a policeman going into a school with a firearm unless they were doing a talk about one I would feel uncomfortable about this in Britain.

Going into our schools "unarmed", though you may be a policeman, puts you in the minority. I would feel safer entering some of the inner city schools with an Abrams tank and a full platoon for back-up. :)

Soros is indeed a formidable foe!

A fool and his money are soon parted.

Paul w. Smith is on am 760 WJR out of Detroit. He is the morning drive talent from 530-900--super prime time in radio, usually where all the money is made.

Soros has high paid Attorneys to keep him out of Jail this time, but his cancerous Tentacles reach into all Areas of the World and IMHO he is going to get nailed again. I have no doubt that he is manipulating Stock Prices again and cheating, but he probably has his fingerprints buried under layer after layer of Dummie Companies that may lead investigators to dead ends. I have a gut instinct about Oil Prices and his previous shenanigans in the Brit Stock market. He is totally without conscience, and has the money to pay a lot of underlings all over the World to do his dirty work.

Thank you.

On the subject of the flag again though in Britain our houses are just not built to have one flying and I am certain because of this people do not learn about how to respect it etc.

For example how would would fly a flag where I live apart from putting out of the top window or I suppose a flag in a window instead of a curtain.

One thing I will say I think this world cup has got people thinking about who they are and their country I see a rise in being English resulting from this, I just hope it is a postive one.

One time she was telling me how shocked she was when a policeman entered the school and he actually had a firearm.

This was done all the time during assemblies when I was in grade school in the 60's and early 70s. Nobody ever thought otherwise since the officer's sidearm was holstered with a safety strap over it and no policeman ever let one of the kids touch his weapon or did he ever withdraw it for us to take a better look at it.

But then conversely, we crouched in the hallways against cement blocks during air-raid drills. The fact that there were skylights in the halls seemed to have been overlooked by those edukatin' us about surviving a commie nuke blast. :o)

I've been trying to find an article I saw on FR during the past week or so, which stated that past presidents often attend classified briefings. Can't you just see X42 or peanuts in a classified briefing and trying to do their best to discredit President Bush? I sure can.

One thing for sure, with carter, we got a twofer. The worst president in history and the worst ex-president in history.

One of the good things about Rush taking time off now and then is the insertion of guest hosts. Some are duds (Chris Matthews?), but some are benefitting from a large audience. Rush knows he can't do this forever (What? Paul Harvey is).
