Ride? Wrong MUSLIMS are invited to an exclusive Alton Towers “fun day”, apparently to “integrate them into the wider community”. Technically, it’s open to all. Except there’s no music or booze, only halal food will be available and tickets are only on sale from an outfit called Islamic Leisure. How social harmony is promoted by effectively shutting a theme park to non-Muslims is anyone’s guess. “It’s hardly encouraging integration,” writes one contributor to an ISLAMIC website. Well said. |

I don't see anything wrong with it. When I worked for Hughes Aircraft we had a day at Disneyland for only employees and families.

"Non-Muslims phoning the Staffordshire park have been refused tickets." Everyone phoning the Staffordshire park would have been 'refused tickets'. On days where the park has been hired privately, they don't sell any tickets. That's kinda the point.
