I know we want the Intel ..... but why don't we reduce the risk and just shoot these mothers?

why don't we reduce the risk and just shoot these mothers? No kidding. Just collect their laptops afterwards.

Mullah Omar? Hope he was one of the two who got smoked, and I really hope he wasn't one of the two who got away.

The Bible has a story of a man wanted by the king, David, who fled to a walled city. The army surrounded the city and basically said, send out the man and we'll leave. After a few hours, his head flew over the wall. The Army commander identified the head and they left..............

The SAS used to be the "Red Team" that tried to infiltrate our positions during war games. They were some of the best combat soldiers that I ever worked with.
I'm sure that the Taliban paid a high price for the two men they killed.

we can't just shoot and ask questions later sometimes... what are gonna do? We need human intelligence.. We didn't have such connections before 9/11.
Clinton practically castrated human intelligence efforts.. instead he would lob a missile or two and go on cameras to congratulate himself afterward.

The report says 75 Taleban fought in the engagement and 30+ were killed. If they are willing to stand up and fight like that then there is the potential to lure them into other engagements like this and destroy them with airpower.

If it's "human" intelligence we need, we'll have to capture some humans instead of these animals.

The British troops called for airpower to attack the Taleban ambush positions, and the major assault ended only when an RAF Harrier GR7 from Kandahar and an Army Air Corps Apache attack helicopter arrived. Up to thirty Taleban were killed, sources said.
Too bad they couldn't get there sooner.

God Bless those brave men, and their families.

The SAS, the Royal Marines Special Boat Service (SBS) and the newly formed Special Forces Support Group, consisting of troops from the 1st Battalion The Parachute Regiment, were all involved in the largest covert operation in the area since British troops were deployed there last month.Looks the the Brits are following our lead by creating a "Ranger-type" element to 'backup' their excellent SF operators. There have been articles about the Brits giving extra training to the Para's for just this purpose.

Of course I regret the loss of the two Brit SAS men, but it is particularly regrettable that two of these turds escaped. Why didn't they just shoot them, when they came under attack?

My thoughts exactly. These brave men give their lives only to have outrageous rights bestowed on the scum they captured.

These Bible stories always leave me with this warm and fuzzy feeling. I watched a program on The Historu Channel not long ago that I found really fascinating. A fromer spec-ops officer dissected the Bible (Old Testament) and examined it as a text on military tactics and strategy. There are many a pertinent military lesson in that book that have been used with great success right up to present times.
