I know we want the Intel ..... but why don't we reduce the risk and just shoot these mothers?

The Bible has a story of a man wanted by the king, David, who fled to a walled city. The army surrounded the city and basically said, send out the man and we'll leave. After a few hours, his head flew over the wall. The Army commander identified the head and they left..............

The SAS used to be the "Red Team" that tried to infiltrate our positions during war games. They were some of the best combat soldiers that I ever worked with.

I'm sure that the Taliban paid a high price for the two men they killed.

we can't just shoot and ask questions later sometimes... what are gonna do? We need human intelligence.. We didn't have such connections before 9/11.

Clinton practically castrated human intelligence efforts.. instead he would lob a missile or two and go on cameras to congratulate himself afterward.

The report says 75 Taleban fought in the engagement and 30+ were killed. If they are willing to stand up and fight like that then there is the potential to lure them into other engagements like this and destroy them with airpower.

The British troops called for airpower to attack the Taleban ambush positions, and the major assault ended only when an RAF Harrier GR7 from Kandahar and an Army Air Corps Apache attack helicopter arrived. Up to thirty Taleban were killed, sources said.
Too bad they couldn't get there sooner.

The SAS, the Royal Marines’ Special Boat Service (SBS) and the newly formed Special Forces Support Group, consisting of troops from the 1st Battalion The Parachute Regiment, were all involved in the largest covert operation in the area since British troops were deployed there last month.

Looks the the Brits are following our lead by creating a "Ranger-type" element to 'backup' their excellent SF operators. There have been articles about the Brits giving extra training to the Para's for just this purpose.

Will our loony Supreme Court let us hold these individuals? Surely we can't interrogate them without their lawyers and "spiritual advisors" being present! What about "internation law"? Did we check with Kofi Annan about this?

I hope that the New York Times approved this, but were they given time to tip off the bad guys? I don't think so! The Supreme Court will undoubtedly see that as a big infringement on the freedom of the (treasonous) press.
