We have a sound permit, and we will be across the street from the New York Times. They are at 229 West 43rd Street. The groups on board so far are Free Republic, Caucus for America, the Congress for Racial Equality, and Protest Warrior, NYC Chapter. We have reached out to several other groups as well, and are waiting to hear back from them. Some high-visibility media people are interested in speaking at the protest. More information will be coming on this as we gather groups and speakers. So hold the date! If you have been as sick about the Times's unconscionable blabbing of our classified information as the rest of those who care about the nation, now is your chance to do something to make your outrage heard.
great job. I'm wishing you much success. it's important.
keep us all informed, please!
You are so bad...
I know I had a pitchfork around here someplace. Anyone have any tiki torches?
Another new sponsor: one of the two Manhattan Young Republican clubs.
I'm sure you know by now. Sickening non-apology this morning from Bill Keller and an editor of the LA Times. Full of BS, partial truths, camouflaged truths, and dust in the air.
Thanks, Tabi. I'm bringing copies of the original article and the nauseating op-ed piece in this morning's Times to the meeting tomorrow.
Thanks, Bob. Hope it goes well.
From today's shameless attempt to defuse the situation. What are we supposed to say? "Oh. Daniel Pearl has been mentioned. I guess the Times IS supportive of the president, the nation, and the war." Give us a nice break, Bill and Dean, and don't use the name of this brave hero in this meaningless, irrelevant way.
That's the problem with arguing with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level, and beat you with experience.
new vehicle, hope to get there before it is over!
It is much appreciated that you bought a new car for this occasion.
They're very smart. They've already discovered that 43rd Street is a narrow street. Whoda thunk it?
I'd advise them to take that "[sic]" out after "Times's." That's the way we book copyeditors do it. A little learning is such a dangerous thing!
I'm from south Jersey, but I'll be there. Please put me on the ping list.
BTW, I've found that the daily crosswords in the NY Sun outshine the crosswords in the Times.
Dang. Wish I could be there!! I will be with you in spirit!!!
Thank you for this!!
Will do. Hope to meet you on July 10th.
Actually, they don't, but your heart is in the right place.
My mind is in the right place, too..
I'll edit my comment
New York Sun daily puzzles outshine NY Times daily puzzles...if you like difficult puzzles. The Times daily puzzles were too easy. I like puzzles that I can learn from.
