After a huge push from the illegal alien lobby, Chris "King of Amnesty" Cannon defeated Team America endorsed Candidate John Jacob 56-44% in Utah's 3rd congressional district. While we are obviously disapointed in the result, the campaign was still a victory for the cause of secure borders. Cannon accredits his win to "extremists" who backed Jacob (i.e. us) and turned off voters. This couldn't be further for the truth. If he didn't have to hide from his pro-illegal record, Cannon would have coasted to victory. In order to defeat a political novice, Cannon had to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars out of his own pocket and from his corporate cronies, engage in a smear campaign against us and Jacob, lie about his pro-illegal record, and solicit support from George W and Laura Bush. The pro-amnesty lobby cannot afford to do this for every one of their politicians. While Cannon managed to slip by us this time, the lesson of this campaign is clear: if you want an easy reelection: secure our borders and oppose amnesty. Team America will be targeting other pro-amnesty candidates in the near future. READ MORE
Looks like your problem. I never said there weren't nominee judges waiting for confirmation.
Don't know where you get the idea there are "hundreds" waiting on confirmation, though. confirmthem reports 17 Circuit nominees pending.
Frist just got Kavanaugh confirmed. Conservatives need to keep up the pressure to get as many as we can confirmed before the election. It ought to be priority one for the Senate.
Perhaps you could explain how many Alitos and Kavanaughs you're gonna get confirmed if you and your buddies succeed in flipping Congress to the Dems???
Must be pretty bad when you have to accuse the support of a President who's about as popular as Herpes for your big loss.
My "big loss"?
It's not even worth a response.
bay's big loss...and you're right, she's hardly worthy of a response.

I think you hit the nail on the head.
There are many more than Circuit Nominees Waiting For Appointment.
My advice to the GOP Senate is to start humping them thru a lot faster than they got Kavenough before the elections.
Agreed. It's the number one priority for the rest of this Congress.

Federal Appointments on the state level as well
What do you mean Federal appointments at the state level. There is no such animal.
Federal district attorneys in states, Judges, etc. All federal appointments combined
I read it in an artlicle about 3 months ago.
There is no such thing as state Federal district attorneys and the only Federal Judges are federal court district judges that Deport included in his chart.
I don't mean State
I meant Federal appointments serving in state.s, Such as the federal prosecutor in New York
You are talking about Attorney Generals and those do not require Senate confirmation.
The article said there were a lot of appointments yet to be filled.
There are always lots of appointments to be filled. However most appointments do not require Senate confirmation.
WOW. Bush really took the effort to get involved in a GOP primary to officially back Cannon? I can't say that I've followed this race closely, except for glancing at headlines on FR and reading the post-mortem articles; but it really surprises me that an incumbent would need the president's help against someone in their first political foray.
How many "Pending" appointments are still hanging...round abouts?
