Why would they do that? The kidnappings?

We know that you shelter, aid and supply "palestinian" terrorists.
We know where you live.

Too bad they didn't drop one big assed bomb on their way over. Enough is enough. And Israel has put up with way more than they should have to. International condemnation be damned. They are damned if they do and damned if they don't anyways.

The IAF has done this before when they wanted to "send a message" - though at this point the best message to Assad might be to blow his sorry ass to pieces........

"This is getting really interesting."

Do you get paid for understatement, or are you just an enthusiast?

If the IDF is going to attack they need to do it now. Otherwise our government will tie their hands and ask them to go the UN and ask for sanctions or a very mean letter first. They need to attack now before Washington calls.

So, basically a bit less than a shot fired across the bow, I guess. Still, a serious warning.

In Syria? I know they do it over Lebanon all the time, but inside Syrian airspace, esp over the home of the President of the country?

Hmmm!

Maybe, they are just letting ASSad know, they know where he lives if any WMDs are used against Israeli's. So they can reach out and "touch him" if necessary.

Why would they do that? The kidnappings?

The exiled leader of Hamas lives in Damascus under the protection of Assad. Syria is widely known to actively support Hamas.

In this flyover, Israel is warning Syria to rein-in Hamas... if they don't want Assad's estate to go kablooey.

Yeah, I bet their fly boys are in the "high clench" mode, hoping they don't get sent up against them. In fact I bet they are puckered up so tight right now that when they are finally able to break wind again every dog in the neighborhood will come running.....

"This hostage-taking just didn't work out the way Hamas thought it would."

Well we all knew this stuff would continue. Israel gave them enough rope, and now hopefully they will all (Hamas) hang together.
