Dean: 'We're About to Enter the '60s Again'

America is about to revisit one of the most turbulent decades in its history, Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean told a religious conference in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday. "We're about to enter the '60s again," Dean said, but he was not referring to the Vietnam War or racial tensions.

Dean said he is looking for "the age of enlightenment led by religious figures who want to greet Americans with a moral, uplifting vision."

"The problem is when we hit that '60s spot again, which I am optimistic we're about to hit, we have to make sure that we don't make the same mistakes," Dean added. See Video

The Democrats are trying to bring on another Vietnam War experience because they are willing to tear the country apart to get power back.

You are exactly correct. They've preached "Vietnam" since day one of the Iraq war, much to the joy of the terrorists. If they think that they'll be able to get by with violent civil disobedience again, as they did in the 60's, they've got another thought coming. I'm certain that there are enough people in this country that are fed up with the path that this country has taken since the Johnson days.

Dean reentered the 60's. He inhaled deeply of the home-rolled cigarette.

He then held it in, not letting any of the vapors escaped.

He then breathed out and felt euphoria wash over his strangly limp and relaxed body.

Five seconds later, the plate of nachos in front of him was history.

More fodder the GOP should use to paint the Dems as the party of the past! Heaven forbid they look forward to a bright future. No, we want to go back 40 years. Great strategy Howard!

Dean: This is a moral nation, and we want it to be a moral nation again." ..."The problem is when we hit that '60s spot again, which I am optimistic we're about to hit, we have to make sure that we don't make the same mistakes,"

If he likes the way the country was, why does he keep trying to micromanage it in all sorts of "new" directions?

Dean's mushy inconsistency is very apparent, thanks to the internet. He needs to take a stand on something that is rock-solid. (But I am optimistic that he won't be able to do that)

I like how liberals call themselves progressive.

There is nothing progressive about them because their ideas have never left the sixties.

Their frozen in time.

I wonder how many of our men and women and how many Iraqis were killed, just because the Dems emboldened the terrorists.
