Yahoo news ^

MIAMI, June 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Roy Black, Rush Limbaugh's attorney, issued the following statement today in response to several inquiries by the media:

While going through routine Customs inspection of luggage at Palm Beach International Airport upon his return from an international trip, Rush Limbaugh was detained by customs agents after they noticed a non-narcotic prescription drug, which had been prescribed by Mr. Limbaugh's treating physician but labeled as being issued to the physician rather than Mr. Limbaugh for privacy purposes. After a brief interview, Mr. Limbaugh was permitted to continue on his journey.

Do you know what a proof analysis is? Or do you believe in finding people guilty based on feelings and personal opinions?

What does he eat up the oxy or the Viagra? I guess he got his talent on loan from God, and got his erection on loan from Viagra.

He eats whatever he wants. He is the boss. :)

You, on the other hand, probably eat a lot of sh!t from your boss. I mean, to be so bitter. Why would your begrudge others Viagra simply because they can put it to good use? Just because it gives you tennis elbow doesn't mean no one should have it.

But like I said, Rush is the boss and he can eat whatever he wants.

It's time for Rush to remove his income and his assets from the state of Floriduh ... the place is a sewer from too many liberals and he would be appreciated in a whole lot of other places. No sense giving the damn freaks another dime of his taxes, etc.

http://customs.gov/xp/cgov/travel/vacation/kbyg/prohibited_restricted.xml#Medication

Medication

Rule of thumb: When you go abroad, take the medicines you will need, no more, no less.
Narcotics and certain other drugs with a high potential for abuse—Rohypnol, GHB, and Fen-Phen, to name a few — may not be brought into the United States, and there are severe penalties for trying to do so. If you need medicines that contain potentially addictive drugs or narcotics (e.g., some cough medicines, tranquilizers, sleeping pills, antidepressants, or stimulants), do the following:

Declare all drugs, medicinals, and similar products to the appropriate CBP official.
Carry such substances in their original containers.
Carry only the quantity of such substances that a person with that condition (e.g., chronic pain) would normally carry for his/her personal use.
Carry a prescription or written statement from your physician that the substances are being used under a doctor's supervision and that they are necessary for your physical well being while traveling.

U.S. residents entering the United States at international land borders, who are carrying a validly obtained controlled substance (other than narcotics such as marijuana, cocaine, heroin, or LSD), are subject to certain additional requirements. If a U.S. resident wants to bring in a controlled substance (other than narcotics such as marijuana, cocaine, heroin, or LSD) but does not have a prescription for the substance issued by a U.S.-licensed practitioner (e.g., physician, dentist, etc.) who is registered with, and authorized by, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to prescribe the medication, the individual may not import more than 50 dosage units of the medication into the United States. If the U.S. resident has a prescription for the controlled substance issued by a DEA registrant, more than 50 dosage units may be imported by that person, provided all other legal requirements are met.

Thanks...but I trust Johns Hopkins over your sources.

So you'd rather trust a source that's only 8 months old rather than reports going back to the 80's? That's dumb!

Uh, did you know that Rush was WITH THE 24 CROWD on his trip?

HE SAID ON HIS SHOW that he was going to the Dominican Republic with the producers of "24."

Shempy it was a joke, get a sense of humor. Rush does not walk on water. Yes and at one time he did eat whatever he wants, and he use to eat a lot of it because he was the one time poster boy for fat bodies.

The law is very simple and he really should have known better considering the history.

He had the pills in the original bottle that the doctor or pharmacist gave him.

It's been my opinion for some time that the election troubles of 2000 and 2004 were not for Gore or Kerry's benefit, but to immunize the left when they actually steal one for Hillary.

I agree.

"He had the pills in the original bottle that the doctor or pharmacist gave him."

But the prescription was not his. IMO Viagra and most other non narcotic drugs should be over the counter unless there are serious health concerns associated with them, but to bring them in, in anything other than a squeaky clean way after all the B.S. he just went through was just stupid.

But the prescription was not his.

Yes it was. The doctor had it filled in his own name for privacy reasons and had the medicine given to Limbaugh. Doctors are allowed to give their patients medicine if they document it which I'm sure it was.

Uh, did you know that Rush was WITH THE 24 CROWD on his trip? I dont think they will be dumping him, since they were with him and saw everything.

Okay...now I get your comment.

You are just naive.
