Oh, he's human, all right. Entirely too human. If he were, say, a mad dog we could simply put him down and be done with it. His behaviour would have no moral content; a mad dog just does what it's programmed to do. He's human, he has a moral conscience and free will. And with that capacity, he chose to commit multiple gruesome murders. He's worse than a mad dog; he's a willing servant of the Evil One.

If I remember, he was caught trying to reenter the country. It's a wonder they didn't just let him go.

He turned himself in. The Mexican government didn't turn him over. That is why they can't whine about that issue.

And no Dionysius, much to your disappointment, he wasn't caught coming trying to come across the border.

The police tracked down Reséndiz's sister, Manuela. Manuela feared that her brother might kill someone else or be killed by the FBI, so she agreed to help the police. A Texas Ranger, Drew Carter, accompanied by Manuela and a spiritual guide met up with Reséndiz on a bridge connecting El Paso, Texas, with Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua.

Reséndiz surrendered to him.

The state of Texas tried Reséndiz for the murder of Dr. Claudia Benton. He was found guilty and was sentenced to death by lethal injection.

Yep, thanks to the Texas Rangers. The Rangers stepped in and tangled with the FBI over this one. The Texas Rangers won.

Now this idiot is goin' to die. He's an illegal alien moving any place he wanted throughout the USA killing Americans. What a disgrace!!!

He rode the train through my city within 3 blocks of my home during that time. Everyone was aware of him being on a killing spree and how he was traveling.

I imagine the town square in Huntsville, Tx. is a hive of activity right now.

Dan Rather went to college at Univ. of Sam Houston there, and somewhat got his start covering executions. He sat in the corner cafe awaiting the time to walk over to the prison.

That - and covering hurricanes made him a 'star'??
