Does Murtha wear a tin foil hat when he makes statements like this? Just curious.

JOHM MURTHA ACTUALLY SAID,
"American presence in Iraq is more dangerous to world peace than nuclear threats from North Korea or Iran, U.S. Rep. John Murtha, D-Pa..."
CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT A SITTING MEMBER OF CONGRESS COULD DO SUCH A THING?

With leadership like this, we had better not get into a war with China or it will be over without a shot fired.

Oh gawd, get mental help already you obsessive sea elephant!
Was this the same speech where this load claims America's liberation of Iraq is a greater threat to peace than Iran and North Korea's nuclear programs?? I think that is all the evidence we'll need at the commitment hearing for this steaming pile.

I agree with what Newt Gingrich said on Fox News today. At the very least, Murtha needs to be censured for his remarks.

I'm still reeling from that statement. It's outrageous.
In the OLD Democratic Party (Scoop Jackson)..one of the old timers would have pulled Murtha in the coatroom and told him to STFU.
They are all dead now...not a great (though wrong) one left.

Sadly, yes. And what's even sadder is that this statement, disgusting as it is, is not even close to being the slimiest thing that has been said by a member of Congress.
On a happy note, I get to use my tagline.

Coming home from work I got behind a Honda Civic Hybrid displaying two bumper stickers. One was a Kerry/Edwards sticker and the other said: "Support our troops - pull them out now." I thought I was going to puke.

Copngressman Murtha has become the Cindy Sheehan of politicians.
What made Murtha turn on America or has he always been like this and we just didn't notice or care.

I knew a guy who had that same sticker. I asked if he also wanted one that said, "Support our firefighters - don't let them go into burning buildings to rescue people."
His only response to that was a middle finger.
