Tancredo is pretty much endorsing the views that Bush is involved in some secret plot. OF course he is getting involved. He is being attacked. That being said. Bush is the Executive. If Bush isn't involved in some plot, why did he refuse to address the open Border for the first five years he was in office, and decide to pretend to do something only when he was pushed into a corner? It's not like this problem just popped up out of nowhere a year ago, I've been living with President Reagan's biggest mistake since it's inception.
We can't afford much party discord in the House right now. Its not like we have a super majority there
If the open border crowd, would pay attention to the wishes of the voters, and do what they were elected to do, there would be no discord. If the Republicans had done what they were elected to do there might just be a super majority.

"Most of them have been here a long time, hold steady jobs,"
A lot of them with fake Social Security numbers and using id theft.
That's a felony right there.
These people should be in jail, then deported. After all, Americans get jailed for id theft, why not the illegals?
"The Southern California economy would collapse if you simply removed them without replacing them with someone. "
That might not neccessariy be such a bad thing.
Plus if we are short of skilled workers we can always get plenty of legal, better educated, English speaking workers from India.

accomplishment since Jesus himself only managed to talk to two on the cross, and even then the Lord was batting .500.
Yeah 10 million Catholics and Evangelicals are thieves that can only be saved from the cross. You my friend would be better off not to bring religion especially Christianity into this argument because Christs teachings are against you. He left matters of the law to men.

If you're on the side of Christ, why do you support a liar like Chris Cannon?
I've heard his ads. Have you? Do you care?
To: Old_Mil
"You've talked to all 10 million of these thieves and discerned what is in their hearts, eh? "
As far as "texasforever" is concerned, people who break America's laws with impunity, have carried out over 1 million sexual assults, and tens of thiousands of murders are "Chrsitains"

If you look back upon this thread, you'll realize that it was you who brought religion into this debate in your pathetic efforts to defend illegal immigration. Go ahead, you can say it: "I love cheap labor more than I love America." Isn't it refreshing to be honest?

Too bad you don't understand the context of Jacob's remarks.

Tancredo has called similar plans, amnesty. Are you actually going to disagree with the Grand Poobah of Anti-illegal immigration, Tom Tancredo?
To: Extremely Extreme Extremist
Too bad you don't understand the context of Jacob's remarks. I read his complete statement. He was blaming SATAN for his recent business failures and that had made it difficult to adequately fund his campaign.. What other context did I miss?

Jacobs came and posted Satan on this thread?
Cool.

>>>Well I'm a back-slid Baptist.<<<<
You'll have to get me educated about that.
The point I've been trying to make is that LDS doctrine supports the idea of tests by the adversary. I doesn't come off as sounding "nuts" or kooky to his constituents.
I don't know if he'll lose or win, but Jacob is a true conservative and there's not a chance that a dem will win this district, either against Cannon or Jacob.
It is FR that taught me that we make the changes in our party at the grassroots. It is at the grassroots that we will influence the direction our party is taking. I came into this race as a caucas delegate firmly in Cannons court. After listening to his ideas and listening to Jacob and weighing the issues it was clear that Jacob is the better candidate.
It was clear to 52% of us at the convention. The important number will be Tuesday, and hopefully Satan will not play a part in the outcome. :-)

Actually, I do disagree with Tancredo on his refusal to support the Pence plan. Tancredo's 2003 plan also includes a guest-worker provision. I do hope that Tancredo & Pence can come up with some type of ironclad bill. I'm not going to trash him like you and Dane has.

" He was blaming SATAN for his recent business failures and that had made it difficult to adequately fund his campaign"
Even if he did, millions of Christians all over the world do that every day, when some misfortune befalls them, and its all over in the Bible.
Believing in the existence of Satan is part of the Christian religion.
To: colorcountry
So what would have to happen Tuesday to tell you SATAN didn't have a hand in this election?

Believing in the existence of Satan is part of the Christian religion. Well I don't really think that God OR SATAN is interested in whether Jacobs' campaign coffers are full. But that's just me.
