And as Rush once said about our First Couple's habit of getting to bed early........there's a lot more you can do in bed than just read I'm not sure "Bush" and "bed" should be used in the same sentence, as temperatures may soar to dangerously high levels.
That said, if I were married to George W. Bush, I'd probably be in bed early too. In fact, I probably wouldn't bother getting up.

Bless you, Nancy, and Jonathan. I'll be going to a special Mass tomorrow commemorating the 25th anniversary of Blessed Mary at Medjugorje. You all will be remembered in my prayers.
Your and your wonderful guys are living emblems of this sentiment, and America's greatest treasures. God bless Jonathan and Mom, Dad and Bro. We are dearly blessed to have such incredibly honorable and generous families such as yours, and we can never thank you enough for all you have given US, but THANK YOU.

They have both been blessed with the kind of marriage few people ever attain...........and one of the reasons for that is that they make sure to spend as much time with each other as their schedules allow.
They work at their relationship..........but I have a feeling it doesn't feel much like 'work' most of the time. :)
We are really blessed by God to have such a fine example of marriage as GOD intended it to be in the White House. George and Laura Bush are an amazing couple!
This might not ever happen again, and we need to savor every moment of the next two and a half years..........with respect and love.

I don't know if I'll ever get caught up with this thread, but had to say the pics of the T-ball game are just soooo cute!
And, I really like the President's blue shirt!

A friend of mine took his daughter up to the T-ball game to see the President. His daughter does not play T-ball but is 10 and plays softball, but how they got invited doesn't matter. Anyway, he loves the President and they got their pictures taken with him; said he was very nice and genuine. This friend of mine, that I'm honored to know, was there in Mogadishu, Somalia in 1993. He was there flying CSAR during that battle, where his close friend Mike Durant was shot down, getting his Black Hawk hit as well. He's also a Rush Limbaugh fan, and a hero in my book. If this man says the President is right, you can bet on it. One man of character, certainly knows another. President Bush didn't even know who he got to shake hands with, that's how humble these guys are. "Mike Durant, we will not leave without you."
