If this isn't the smoking gun that Saddam LIED to the UN, then what is????
We have Docs, we have testimony, and now we have SOLID EVIDENCE that Saddam Lied to the UN, and tried to HIDE WEAPONS......
Why is that so difficult to understand???

FYI,
CNN still has no mention about the WMDs. And what is their new slogan.... Something like, "America's Most Trusted Network". LMAO! What a joke CNN has become. Yeah the most trusted, and that is why your a second fiddle to Fox News.

it's about damned time.... If this is finally coming out, I can guarantee there will be more.
I've wondered all along why this information wasn't being released. I first knew of WMD being located in Iraq in the summer of 2004.
But nobody ever said anything about it and I guess I'd better not say any more now and just hope that it all comes out.

He absolutely insists we are now in a civil war in Iraq. He's absolutely WRONG.
The Dems and their wishful thinking are at it again.

Also significant are the delivery artillery rounds themselves. They, too, are a violation of the sanctions against him.
In fact, the rounds are MORE significant than the gas, imho.
The rounds are harder to quickly manufacture than is the chemical agent which can be made pretty quickly if you have the precursors and the recipe already on hand....which they did.

Less chetnik terror for Russia means more WMD info coming out, maybe. I've heard that the Russians are noticing that a lot of the funding and supplying of the chetnik terrs came out of Iraq, or was related to Saddam's Iraq, somehow. No more Saddam, much much less chetnik terror. Russians starting to appreciate our invasion because of that effect.
And why didn't we release more about WMDs? As the retired US General on Fox News said last night -- because it was manufactured by and with our allies help. Russia. (and China and France etc.)

It is past time to out the lying scumbags of the Left.
President Bush needed, AND GOT, a new Public Relations team.
Let's hope Tony Snow et. al. get the facts out about Iraq WMD.
For the memory of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice, for those still in the line of fire, it is the responsibility of every American to ensure the legacy of our brave warriors.
Not only was Saddam's Iraq a terrorist regime, a despicable dictatorship, and a haven for terrorism.
Iraq continued to harbor and develop WMD in contravention of the terms that ended the first Iraq war.
When the whining weasels of the Left cried that we should have invaded Afghanistan proactively to prevent 9/11, they now shudder that President Bush did exactly that by invading Iraq proactively to prevent future terrorist acts.
History will record that the Iraq War saved Democracy on Earth.

What Tech told you last night is correct. The Old Media and the DUhmocrats have been incorrectly stating that we supplied Iraq with chem weapons. I was just checking in quickly this morning and don't have time right now to research this for you but I do have some links somewhere for you to peruse if you need further info. I could get to it this evening if you would like.

I'm not surprised about this and have been wondering when they would be found.
I recall that there had been 2 or 3 news stories about early IEDs made from 155mm artillery shells that contained Sarin a couple of years ago. And, based upon reports after Operation Desert Storm, that the Iraqi's did not put special markings on their chemical shells, I have often wondered if chemical filled shells were sitting around in various ammo dumps completely unnoticed, because the markings on them were no different than HE filled shells.
A hearty congratulations to the Army's National Ground Intelligence Center.

I first knew of WMD being located in Iraq in the summer of 2004. Not sure if this is within the scope of your observation, but at some point along the way, we air lifted TONS of redioactive material out of Iraq. The liberals will deconstruct anything that is released now. Nothing short of finding ICBM's targeting NY would be considered WMD by the left.

Another freeper named Australiansavy was freepmailing several of us last night telling us why this story was no big deal. That freeper had just signed up yesterday and was clearly a troll. Australiansavy has also been zotted.

"I recall that there had been 2 or 3 news stories about early IEDs made from 155mm artillery shells that contained Sarin a couple of years ago."
It stands to reason that Saddam would produce more. No one incurs all the development costs, cost of production facilities, cost of equipment, hiring and training costs, etc. to produce just a handful of mortar shells. Given the size of his Army and his warfare with immediate neighbors, Iran especially, I'd expect production in the hundreds, if not thousands.
What we need now are photographs to make this seem "real" to people.
The MSM will remain silent or dissemble. For example, there were reports of Stalin's orchestrated starvation in the Ukraine in 1932. This led to the death of 5-10 million people. But the press remained silent or turned the conversation to other topics. It just never registered as real; after all, no one showed outrage.
Again, Santorum and others need photographs and they need to get them in front of people. Clever people should be able to come up with all kinds of photographic angles on 500 Shells.
