I became acquainted with Phil in March & April 2003 at the start of the WOT in Iraq when I called his radio show to promote 'Support Our Troops' rallies I was helping to organize in Sarasota & Venice, FL.
In May that same year, I visited his New Bedford Diner and was on his radio show.
On June 19, 2003 I posted an account of being on his radio show on Free Republic. The thread is here:

Now three years later, Phil Paleologos is a candidate for the MA Governor's Council in the First District.
The Governors Council consists of an eight-member body responsible for approving or disapproving the Judicial Appointments of the Governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, among other important duties.
Phil is a true conservative and he's running to make sure lenient judges who are easy on criminals do not gain lifetime tenure.
The term is two years and Phil is running against Democrat Carole Fiola of Fall River. Phil is the only Republican running in this district. The First District includes these MA counties: Barstable (Cape Cod), Bristol, Plymouth, Dukes (Martha's Vinyard ad Nantucket.
Please spread the word about Phil Paleologos to all your MA friends, especially those in the First District.
And I hope all my FReeper FRiends will go to this website and support his effort to stand up for the rights of victims, not hardened criminals. The people of MA need a conservative voice on the Governor's Council!
