'Finnish environmentalist Pentti Linkola calls humanity a sinking ship with 100 passengers and a lifeboat for 10. “Those who hate life try to pull more people on board and drown everybody. Those who love and respect life use axes to chop off the extra hands hanging on the gunwale.”'

These people should be flagged as terrorists and denied entry to the U.S.

I can almost understand hating America, almost, but hating humanity so much is beyond my ken.

“We’re no better than bacteria!” University of Texas biologist Eric Pianka recently announced.

I think Santa should put some anthrax in his stocking.

They should all gather in one place, maybe we can help 'em out.

How come these people never want to put themselves in the 90%? After all, it's all to save the Earth.

If you agree with the policy of only having 10% of the population, you go first so we know your serious.

If it happens and 80% die, the next step will be massive guilt that all the "wrong people" died, as the third world gets decimated, and the West enjoys better living through modern chemistry.

“And, I actually think the world will be much better when there’s only 10 or 20% of us left.”

Did he say this before or after the men in white coats came out and took him away?

That's what I said...Eco Radicals first.

I agree with the policy of the Eco Radicals deciding the planet needs to be purged...they can be the first to go. Once they are gone, why would we need the policy?

I just got done listening to a locker room rant by some character who insisted that Bush was to blame for the recent wildfire threatening Sedona, AZ because he beat Al Gore and the "Planet" is so much warmer as a consequence.

"Don't you think it's warmer?" he asked me.

"Yes it definitely is," I replied, "it's June."

(Hence my new tagline.

There was a science fiction story, maybe thirty or forty years ago where an elite (military-industrial international corporation type elite) decided the planet should be purged and commissioned a scientist to find a plague or poison that would primarily affect other (poorer, darker) ethnic groups.

The scientist called a meeting in which he revealed that he had indeed discovered such a targeted agent - and that he had fed them all the agent in the sandwiches - that it was targeted to him, but it should do fairly well at getting rid of the rest of them also.

They pretty much proved that with the banning of DDT, a result of which, millions have died.

You didn't tell him the wildfire was set by a transient's campfire and has been aided by a long drought. This isn't the first drought to strike Arizona and it won't be the last.

After all, it's believed the Anasazi evacuated the area due to a long drought and that was way before George Bush warmed the earth -- though if there has been any warming over the past six years it's the hot air coming out of Al Gore's mouth.

To wit:

http://www.dieoff.org

Unsurprisingly, sites like this one are taken quite seriously by certain intellectuals, radical agitators, mainstream Leftist politicos and even the odd rich dude with way too much time on his hands. Never let them have power, never ...

Eco radicals should go find the nearest bridge and jump for the sake of the planet then.

There are hidden contradictions in the minds of people who "love Nature" while deploring the "artificialities" with which "Man has spoiled 'Nature.' "
The obvious contradiction lies in their choice of words, which imply that Man and his artifacts are not part of "Nature", but beavers and their dams are.
But the contradictions go deeper than this prima-facie absurdity.
In declaring his love for a beaver dam (erected by beavers for beavers' purposes) and his hatred for dams erected by men (for the purposes of men) the "Naturist" reveals his hatred for his own race, i.e. his own self-hatred.
In the case,of "Naturists" such self-hatred is understandable; they are such a sorry lot. But hatred is too strong an emotion to feel toward them; pity and contempt are the most they rate.
As for me, willy-nilly I am a man, not a beaver, and H. sapiens is the only race I have or can have.
Fortunately for me, I like being part of a race made up of men and women, it strikes me as a fine arrangement and perfectly "natural."
