Now why would Iraq expect an attack in response to 9/11? Unless...

Very interesting.
Sounds like Ahmad was soiling his pants knowing full well that Iraq was deeply involved with Osama.
Also you notice in the second memo they were aware that the strike will be against Afghanistan but they were still taking all these military preparations.
You know, it wasn't all that long ago people were looking at me like I had two heads for saying that Saddam was up to his eyeballs in 9/11. Means, motive, and opportunity, he had them all, in spades. I guess I can take the tinfoil off now!
Very, very interesting,....and why Afghanistan.....so many questions.,....
This is important information, jveritas. Attorneys call it "consciousness of guilt".
Simon Reeve wrote an important book called The New Jackals. The book is primarily about Osama bin Laden and Ramzi Yousef.
There was important information that I've not seen reported elsewhere but that the reporter sourced quite well.
Two weeks prior to 9/11, Saddam put his troops on their highest state of alert since the Gulf War and put his two wives together into the same bunker. Saddam had never put those women together before because they detested each other. Then Saddam went into a secure bunker and didn't emerge until 10/01.
Exactly!
jveritas, you ROCK. :-)
VERY interesting!
Thanks for posting!
Bookmarked!
Very interesting. I hope I can find a document that talks about their military readiness orders two weeks before 9/11 and translate it. This will be very a important one.
Of all the translations that jveritas is doing this is one of the most important I'd say; I just wish someone would pick this up!
Maybe Tony Snow still surfs FR ocassionally, and can tell his boss about this; quit taking all the "Iraq wasn't involved in 9/11" guff!
[move to the Replacement Headquarters in case a strike occurred against Afghanistan.]
Curious that they would reposition and alert their people if it's a strike on Afghanistan.

Just asking here, but ... these wouldn't be WMD evacuation sites by chance now would they?
I'm finding myself glad that Saddam's alive at the moment. Which is unusual.
Now if only we could get him off in a dark room with a pair of pliers and maybe...oh, I don't know, a chainsaw or woodchipper and start asking some questions.
When Saddam's Intel officer met with a broke al Queda in 1998, and then suddenly UBL had the money to finance preparations for 9/11 - that was enough for me.
I think so too.
Fox had a spokesman on this morning who is also translating documents. Unfortunately, his presentation was less than exciting. The F&F crew had to prompt him on what to say. Though Fox is on the right track, when they are on the air with this info, they and their spokesmen need to be more forceful and emphatic in presenting the evidence and interpreting its importance with respect to our attack and invasion of Iraq.
