Although I am saddened by the discovery, I am encouraged by the news that AQ left the bodies so quickly. I hope our soldiers gave them hell and didn't make for "easy" hostages. The recent reports of terrorists on the run in Iraq today is also good news.
I have been following that also for the past couple of days, but not as intensely as our 2 Fallen Heroes. But I think that it all has to do with the same rabid terrorist monsters.
Thanks for pointing it out to me.
These animals are sub-human.........always were and always will be....Religion of Peace, my @ss!
It's a lot to follow, isn't it?
You've been just terrific keeping us all updated- many thanks.
Ahh, yes, an Egyptian fighting for his Iraq countrymen's freedom.
KEEP the GUNS SHIPS ROCKING!!!
HAVE FUN TRYING TO BEHEAD THIS!
There's another lesson, an unofficial one, which will be passed among the troops themselves. Never surrender. They'll just kill you anyway. It's better to go down fighting.
Then we've go this: Missing troops found murdered in Iraq
And while these brave soldiers were being tortured and murdered:
Three Charged in Deaths of Iraqi Prisoners
Soldiers From 101st Airborne Division Held in Kuwait
By ROBERT BURNS

WASHINGTON (June 20) - The Army charged three U.S. soldiers with the premeditated murder of three male detainees in Iraq last month.
The soldiers also were charged with obstructing justice for allegedly threatening to kill another soldier who was a witness in the case.
A brief Army announcement Monday in Baghdad said the three accused soldiers are currently in pre-trial confinement awaiting a hearing to determine if sufficient evidence exists for the case to be referred to court-martial.
The maximum penalty for murder is death, under the Uniform Code of Military Justice.
The announcement provided no details about the alleged killings, but a defense official at the Pentagon said the three soldiers are accused of shooting three male detainees as they attempted to flee. The official discussed the matter on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to release details.
The official said the soldiers - members of the 3rd battalion, 187th infantry regiment, 101st Airborne Division - are being held in Kuwait. The killings were said to have happened during a military operation near Thar Canal in northern Salahuddin province on May 9.
The accused soldiers were identified by the Army as Pfc. Corey R. Clagett, Spc. William B. Hunsaker and Staff Sergeant Raymond L. Girouard.
The charges include murder, attempted murder, conspiracy, communicating a threat and wrongfully attempting to influence the testimony of a witness in the investigation.
Life in prison is the maximum penalty for attempted murder and for conspiracy to commit murder. The maximum punishment for wrongfully communicating a threat is five years in prison.
The Army's official list of charges says each of the three soldiers is accused of premeditated murder of male detainees "of apparent Middle Eastern descent" whose names are unknown. It does not say they were Iraqis. It says the detainees were shot with an unspecified firearm at or near the Muthana Chemical Complex.
In its announcement from Baghdad, the U.S. military said that on the day the alleged murders were committed the unit commander ordered an inquiry. It said a criminal investigation began on May 17 and is continuing.
Girouard is charged with three counts of murder, one count of conspiring with Hunsaker and Clagett to commit premeditated murder and one count of attempted premeditated murder. Clagett and Hunsaker are each charged with two counts of murder, one count of conspiracy to commit murder and one count of attempted murder.
In specifying the charges against the soldiers, the Army said Clagett, Hunsaker and Girouard also are accused of interfering with the investigation by threatening to kill Pfc. Bradley L. Mason if he testified against them.
The Army accused Hunsaker of telling Mason on May 10 - the day after the shootings - "I will kill you if you tell anyone." It said Hunsaker also threatened Mason during a period between May 10 and June 15 by telling him, "Don't tell anyone because if I go to jail I will kill you."
Girouard is accused of wrongfully communicating a threat by telling Mason the day after the shootings, "I will kill you if you tell anyone" and "You better not talk or I will kill you."
Clagett allegedly told Mason on May 29 while traveling by vehicle to an Army Criminal Investigation Command office in Iraq, "Staff Sergeant Girouard will not have to kill you because I will kill you if you say anything."
The charges against the three soldiers are unrelated to other recent cases, still under investigation, in which American military personnel are alleged to have wrongly killed Iraqis.

WHERE IS THE JUSTICE?
I don't believe it either.. it's like a prop up or something.. "fear our new leader!"
I agree. Why take prisoners. We seem to get more information from their laptops.
don't you understand that the prisoners in Gitmore are "in despair"? (per NY Slimes). Isn't that the idea? we will get the butchers who did this to our men.
And we are going to tell everyone we meet that we Are winning this war, we ARE killing the enemy in droves and we ARE going to finish the job.
Because the Fifth Column press is so busy doing their best to trash our President and our country and trying to convince the world that the terrorists are winning, we have to shout loud and clear to drown them out. We don't have to worry about trying to make them look like fools because they are doing a terrific job of that themselves. They are too stupid to realize what would happen to their jobs if the terrorists win--they'd be the first ones muzzled.
Our hearts and prayers are with all our brave troops, their leaders and the loved ones they have left behind. They are our very, very best and we can never repay them. Our heartfelt thanks to all our brave heroes.
I am starting to wish we really could do that with the pork, but we are civilized and not allowed to do that. Now on the other hand put a bunch of japanese in there and tell them to fight and torture like they did say 85 years ago and that would strike fear in anyone.
Certainly you're not comparing our soldiers to those muslim a-holes who would kidnap someone, tie them up and slit their throats while they are defenseless.
I absolutely am not. I am just pointing out when someone mentions honor, I do not feel dropping 1000 lbs worth of bombs on one or two guys is THAT honorable a fight, talk about defenseless.
No outrage.....
Yet, these are the same people that riot in the streets and call for the murder of folks over the printing of a cartoon of their murderous cult leader....
Islamists are a difficult people to help..
Islamists are an impossible people to respect.
Islamists are a people flirting with extermination.
When will the war on Militant Islam commence?
When will the supporters of militant Islam experience the devastation of the war they have declared and initiated?
Semper Fi
I don't want to hear any more S--T from anyone in this country or anywhere else, on how they are being treated by us in Gitmo and elsewhere.
What happened here makes me sick, and this replacment for Zarqawi, is going to focus in on killing more military and westerners instead of blowing up Iraqi's.
To our brave soldiers, Rest In Peace.
