If a video appears on al-Jazeera, I would not mind seeing a disruption in signal and then a report that a terrorist attack had occurred on the al-Jazeera site.
That would be truly unfortunate if it were to happen...

Why in the hell doens't each and every American soldier have a GPS chip inside their body?
---
I'm going to put this as delicately as I can.
Have you ever heard of a knife?
How do you think the kidnappers are going to use a knife to eliminate the chip as soon as they capture an American?
So where do you think this chip should be implanted in the bodies of American servicemen?
After you've thought those questions through and come to the obvious conclusions, would there be there any point to the chips?

I sadly agree, I think we all knew in our hearts that this was the likely outcome.
After we got Z, no way they wanted our Troopers for ransom.

Missing soldiers reportedly found dead - CNN
"There were two bodies found, but they are still going through the process of determining whether they are the missing soldiers or not," he told the AP. "There was some human remains that were found. Two bodies."

But we know that won't happen. The families will have to be told.
This is beyond words.

I am dismayed that the US military, at this late date, has not seen fit to employ something akin to
this. If we can track stolen cars or locate cellphone calls, why can't we not track our brave young men?

Found beheaded, according to GMA. If true, an example should be made of the town. The men should all be rounded up and placed in a prison camp until someone rats out the killers. The women and children should be relocated all over the country - not harmed, but moved away. The town itself should be razed to the ground and the earth salted.

Oh no! Prayers for their families.
To: DCPatriot
I feel so sorry for them and their families. They like so many others volunteered to protect their country and did a great service.

I didn't see the program, but when I read the uncle's comments, I wondered how the MSM could have gone and dug up probably the one Cindy Sheehan/Michael Berg type family member. Maybe I'm jumping the gun and he really didn't mean the remarks that way. I hope.
This is such a sad event, and the media reaction is going to make it even worse.

I want to see Amnesty and Red Cross...along with ALL the dems who complained about torture and the NSA....to issue a statement of rebuke and call on the national community to condemn these TERRORISTS!!!! We can stop this now and take the gloves off....like Rush said, the world is governed by aggressive force! Let's level these bastards and live free.

"Where was there POW status?"
Oh, but John McCain says we can't use torture, or else others will use torture against us. And we must uphold Geneva Conventions even if they are terrorists, because he's sure that the enemy will then do the same if we do. What a big friggin joke. Worked well for him, didn't it? They beat the cr*p out of him (the N. Vietnamese) and ignored the Geneva Convetions. Anyone who would vote for John McCain has rocks in their head.

Ah, the quality of broadcasting at NBC.
A nice way to celebrate the 1st day after the departure of Dan Rather...
I wonder if the jerks in the media understand why Dan Rather and Tom Brokaw are no longer Anchors (and in Dan Rather's case, the fact he has been literally forced out the door...)
But I guess being brain dead is a requirement at many of the Lamestream Media shops.
It was Fox News that broke this story, and I don't think the LAMESTREAM MEDIA doesn't understand why Fox is number 1 these days with Drudge #2 and some Internet sites such as Freerepublic providing better coverage these LAME MEDIA folks.
Maybe when they get pink slips they might get the message...

Respectfully, the good news is that they're not in the hands of terrorists and are no longer being tortured.Respectfully, that kind of reply makes me want to puke.

This family is in grief, and they should be given a few weeks where no one records their words.
This uncle, unfortunately, will become a mouthpiece for the media and the liberals. As Ann Coulter says, they'll use him as a "human shield" for their policies.
I hope this soldier's immediate family bitchslaps this uncle and tells him to keep his trap shut.
The Uncle's blaming their son's IMMEDIATE FRIENDS. Any "plan" would have to be a plan at platoon or company level.
Besides, why would we need a plan to protect the life of a POW.
We already have a plan.
It's Called the Status of Prisoners of War under Geneva/Hague Conventions.
They murdered POWs and someone wants to blame the US? Absolutely Amazing.

Whereabouts are monitored by logging into a password-protected Web site or by calling the Wherify call center. Can also receive pages. POWERED BY POMALS BLACKBERRY G.P.S.-enabled sleeve fits around palmtops and tracks location. When the BlackBerry contacts the Pomals monitoring station, it can request location-specific information and services and display a map showing the user's position. Cost: $129 for the sleeve, plus a $15 monthly service fee. Information: www.pomals.com.
NATIONAL SCIENTIFIC URBAN TRACKER IIK CHILD LOCATOR BACKPACK Battery-powered G.P.S. tracking system hidden in a rugged, child-size book bag. Available in a variety of colors.
