She's easier on the eyes but she's harder to actually see.
I can do better than that whole article in a few words.
When Ann says or writes something, she can source her statements and back up her claims with facts.
Moore can't do that and gets sued for falsifying presentations.
"He asks another and we mumble like Steve Martin in The Jerk when reading Bernadette Peters goodbye note that fell in the bathtub."
WTF is that about? Why drag in Marathon Man? Sheesh! This article raises a good point, but geez, could it be a little more Dennis Miller-esque along the way?
Ann's looking smart, as usual.
In sheer tonnage you'd need about 50,000 Ann's to get a Moore-on. And in class, an infinite.
I promise I will NEVER confuse Ann Coulter with Michael Moore.
I am waiting for the Neville Chamberlain wing of FR to say that Coulter still went "too far" in condemning the Jersey widows or Murtha. Or that Coulter is "no better" than Moore at public discourse.
Maybe Im biased, but nothingabsolutely nothingAnn Coulter has said about John Murtha or John Kerry or the Jersey Girls strikes me as remotely comparable in vileness, cowardice and rank stupidity as Michael Moores blanket calumny against some of the bravest men of the 20th Century.
. . .hits the target perfectly, on the vileness, cowardice and rank stupidity and blanket calumny. . .for Moore and for most 'talking' Liberals and those who protest as well. Which would include, of course, the highly esteemed - by Libs - traitorist/Lib entertainer, Cindy Sheehan*. . .
And Ted Kennedy is the beached whale of the left....
Michael Moore is a despicable, traitorous parasite who deprecates his own country as he makes millions off his treachery. According to Moore capitalism is evil, but not so evil that he won't move to Cuba or North Korea. Bah!! The more I think about the hypocrisy of libs, the madder I get.
I go back and forth on the subject of Coulter. In general, I love her patriotism and her biting criticism of the left, but I do have big problems with what I see as her inability to reason clearly (despite her claims to the contrary).
She says she can define liberalism in one word: godless. (I heard it in an interview, so please don't say she doesn't say that.)
I wish I could ask her to explain two things:
1. Liberation theology
2. Ayn Rand conservatives
In my experience, some of the most obnoxious and self-righteous leftists in America (and probably also South America) are Christian Leftists.
And in my experience, some of the most clear-thinking and truly conservative individuals I have known (who never get tripped up by the urge to "do good" but stick to the basics of conservative ideas), are atheist conservatives.
Memo To Ann Coulter: Who do you think invented socialism? Hint: it was NOT the secular left.
Bump. Everyone should read the whole thing.

A lot of nice words in the article but when all is said and done, I see little Coulter does to further the conservative cause. She makes matters worse when she puts people into the position of having to defend her classless style.
Sorry, but the conservative cause does not have to be furthered in the way she attempts to do. Her words are nothing more than emotions coming out. Liberals are the people that do and say things based on emotions. I prefer a more mature approach to things and especially not in a manner designed to sell books.
Now it's off my chest.
While the treatise on Moore vs. Cuban-Amercians is interesting, the premise of the article's title is much simpler to support -- regardless of one thinks of her bombastic, frequently over-the-top style, Coulter doen't make things up and pass them off as fact. From that view, she'll never sink to Moore's level, no matter how crude or caustic her opinion statements become.
Moore himself denounces Republicans as people who hate people who get up at six in the morning trying to figure out which minority group theyre going to screw today.
Dammit, he found me out! Today I woke up and decided to screw Cameroon Highlanders.
(hmm, maybe I'll switch to Botswana Basarwaians. They're always an easy mark)
BTW Mikey, I get up at five, not six.
