Mao Tse Tung had a similar strategy for nuclear war thinking China could survive the first wave with only 400 million casulties.

Mao was very successful with 'human wave' attacks for a few months after Red China entered the Korean war. Then they met General Matthew Ridgeway's 'Meatgrinder' and things changed quickly.

Has the legitimate basis for the Doctrine of Preemption ever been made clearer?

Here's hoping that the bodily existence of ahmaggedon, the mullahs, ayatollahs, and various other extremist shiite trash are about to undergo a radical change.

Yeah, Saddam's so called "professional" army did not know how to handle human wave attacks properly. Ridgeway's meatgrinder would have solved the basij problem.

Ahmadinejad and those in his support operate on an entirely different plane of reality (as they define reality) than the rest of the world. There is no appeasing them. There is no successful diplomacy with them or negotiation with them. The only thing a nation can do, when confronted with such a psychotic enemy is to draw a clear and distinct line in the sand and tell these madmen that if they cross this line for any reason, we will annihilate them as a nation, utterly destroy them, erase all memory of them from the face of the earth......and then be prepared to execute the threat if the line is crossed. That's the only way one can effective "negotiate" with a madman society.

I can't find it right now, but either Zawahiri or bin Laden said in one of their tapes that they had thought about a devastating US response to a future big attack and had decided that the losses would be acceptable. These guys all think alike...no problem if thousands or millions of Muslims die as long as we are made to submit.

This guy needs to have a visit from a "special ops team" before he lets loose on a nuclear war!

Khomeini sent Iranian children, some as young as 12 years old, to the front lines. There, they marched in formation across minefields toward the enemy, clearing a path with their bodies.
Any ideology that would send small children marching into mine fields towards certain death needs to be thoroughly and permanently destroyed. Radical islam must be defeated with the same urgency and sense of purpose that was directed against nazi Germany and the third reich.
This ideology is evil, pure and simple. And evil must be destroyed.

North Korea has a similar problem.
Recall post-World Cup 2002 and the naval conflict that soured whatever warm feelings were made for Korea's combined soccer team. Several Koreans sailors (on both sides) were killed because of that clash.
Perhaps NK and Iran are truly being well behaved during the World Cup. Perhaps all of the news examining Iran's nuclear ambitions and NK's missile projects is a way of America saying, "the world might be watching soccer, but we're watching you." The other possible reality is that Iran and NK haven't cooled off any interest in gaining more power and/or effecting oil prices to see their own stock profits rise because of their own malicious criminal influences.

Politicians and journalists might have to discuss this in public.

And some wonder that God could command Saul to utterly destroy an entire peoples, right down to the oxen and sheep. We now realize they become Persian/Iranian demons to the rest of civilization. Lest we forget, there was a certain tipping point for Nineveh beyond which God would not allow the people to go without annihilation, that's why He sent Jonah to give them a last chance to avoid that tipping point. Sodom and Gomorrah ignored their warnings and where are they today? Where are their descendants?
