Because she's always been a nut who was advanced in her career for no discernable reason?

Oh, come on, it's obviously some kind of joke. It's not like she was at a serious awards ceremony or something and climbed up on top of a piano uninvited.
She's no more a journalist than she is a singer, but for a woman her age she looks darned good. The basic architecture of her face is excellent. And again, for a woman in her fifties she has a nice figure. At least she's not fat and sloppy.

I would compare Connie Chung's performance draped over a piano to Marlyn Monroe's singing "Happy Birthday" to Jack Kennedy in one respect ...they both were obviously drunk at the time.

Simply awful! I hope that when she sang she has better things to do, she doesn't think it is in show business!

Connie Chung Loses It. Connie Chung Never Had It.

What's up with the piano player who wasn't playing? And why is he smiling?

Was this actually on national TV?

More like Rosanne singing the National Anthem at the ball park! What an awful freak!

Bob Hope is spinning in his grave. Yep, I could almost recognize the tune that Connie did her best to destroy.
I just watched the video on UTube. You HAVE to see this to know just how bad she was. I wonder how much they had to pay the pianist to smile at her all the way through.

Actually, Connie's a bellweather. When they haul her in to save them, you know their goose is already cooked. Maybe the European Union should hire Connie to save it. We'll know we're out of the woods and all's well when Connie's called in to save the Democrat Party.

I honestly did not know she was still on TV.

Anyone else hear the loud grunting noises Chung made when moving down from the piano to the floor?
