I get soooo sick of hearing Demagogues yelling about "we will take this country back" as though it were their personal toy and the mean Republicans snatched it away from them. Anyone who knows anything about the past 40 years of US history knows that a highly liberal-left media and political class "took over" a country whose majority consistently rejects what the left stands for. Only through vast numbers of lying MSM distortions and "re-framing" issues in propagandistic ways has the left been able to "take over" for so long here. Now that they are realizing they truly are the minority party they are in a frenzy of rage and disinformation to try to regain their power.

I am convinced that with honest, objective reporting (I know, a fantasy) and a slightly better, more aggressive Republican party the Demagogues would never again get above 40% in a national election (unless they purged themselves of the Kos-morons and made Zell Miller their standard-bearer).

I think you are way off base. It is her mean temper, condescending attitude, her hitler like desire for dictatorial power, her willingness to break more than a few laws to reach her goal, these are the things that turn people's stomach.
