What's the big deal? All they have to do is prove that they are in this country legally and no problem. After all, the article does refer to them as immigrants.

The days of the kind, simple, hardworking migrante is long gone, what is coming in now are the dredges of Mexico

You mean these charged dredges from Mexico, who are charged with murdering 7 people in a hispanic family?

A trial date has been set for the two men accused of mass murder in Indianapolis. Twenty-eight-year-old Desmond Turner and 30-year-old James Stewart are charged with the murders of seven people. The trial is set for July 17th. The judge also signed an order directing that the men should have no contact with each other. Turner faces 23 charges, including murder, criminal confinement, robbery, burglary and firearms charges.

Oops sorry those are American born dredges, they don't count in your eyes MCG999, in your opinion.

I have held jobs where I worked alongside illegals.
There were very hard working, until the company got them work permits.
Then they became some of the worst moochers and thieves possible.
I came to the conclusion that the result should have been expected.
People who cannot bother to enter the country legally are unlikely to be of the best character after they arrive.

Once the illegals feel comfortable here, no longer fearing momentary deportation, they revert to their true character, or lack of it.

NO AMNESTY!

I agree with you.

My problem is that my own county and state governments have told the police not to question people, not to ask status, ask for papers etc..

The school system knows damned well which students are not here legally..or at least knows how to verify any suspicion. The orders come from the top.

I live in a blue county and state but my governor is republican. IOW, failure to enforce has be the modus operandi of both sides of the aisle...all the way up to the House and Senate. All the way up the White House.

They should all be thrown out of office for allowing it to get to this stage. It should have been addressed years ago, but it's the hot potato of politics.

They are not dumb, evil-minded people we elected. You think they thumb their noses at you because they don't enforce the immigration laws.

I can understand the Feds...the taxes withheld from phony or stolen ss#s translated to a lot of dollars to the treasury.

My own motivation and why I enjoy them? They were the backbone of the housing boom...both as carpenters and landscapers, but they were also 1st time buyers which drove the move-up market.

I'm sorry for rambling. I don't express myself very well too much of the time.

But I think you're all taking stupid pills. No disrespect.

I could have said ignorant pills. ;^)

Audit the 20 million plus illegals now! This is the governments biggest weapon against legal citizens. SO USE IT ON THE FOREIGN CRIMINALS.

Go back to your oen country, and you can go to the park all you want there. Do they have parks there, BTW?

And here is another dredge that America could never produce in your opinion.

RENO, Nev. Detectives are sifting through hundreds of leads in the continuing search for a man suspected of killing his estranged wife and shooting the judge who handled their divorce. Funeral services for the woman, Charla Mack, will be Tuesday in Reno, Nevada. Judge Chuck Weller is recovering from his wounds at an undisclosed location. His spokesman says Weller remains confident that suspect Darren Mack will be caught. The wealthy pawn shop owner has not been heard from since he phoned a cousin in California, shortly after Charla Mack was stabbed to death and Weller was shot.

When I was a prosecutor I knew alot of hard-working people who did ILLEGAL drugs. I am sure that it hurt them financially and emotionally when the police arrested them, and I prosecuted them. So, I guess you would have had me let them go? I guess it was the police officer's fault for doing their job and arresting these people? Never mind the fact that they violated the law. What part of ILLEGAL is everyone not understanding?

Thank you, thank you. Just when I was trying to formulate an answer to DCPatriot's whiny post, I read your perfect response.

Try to stay focused now. This thread is about illegal immigrants. I don't think that anyone here said that we don't have our own native-born criminals. Why would anyone want to add Mexico's criminals to the ones we already have?

I live in the SF Bay Area. I newspapers up here are constantly having stories about the poor illegals and how they have sacrificed so much to get here and the bad Americans are trying to deprive them of making a living. My blood boils.

What's your point Dane, besides open borders, NWO and globalisation? You're pretty well understood here, do you have anything new to add?

You know what Dane, nobody cares what you think or write. You think illegals are all sweetness and light. I don't know why, but it's probablyh because you're exploiting them and making a living off the illegals in some way. You really don't care much what happens to anybody else as long as your little buddies keep providing for you.

My life is ruined, oh the agony(/sarc).

You think illegals are all sweetness and light.

No I don't and I don't think each and every one of them is the anti-christ as you seem to.

Wrong, I'm not an employer, I just get sick of the sterotypical and, IMO racist by some, generalities, of an entire ethnic group.

Wasting your breath on Dane. He/she is in a different world that does not include earthly reality. A kind of cosmic RodneyKing "can't we all get along" interpretation of hard earthly facts. I kind of like his posts, they make me chuckle...not "guffaw" mind you, but..."chuckle".

Wefare = welfare

In these cases...
Wefare = "fares" that "we" (legals) pay for

"Fewer parents are walking their children to school in this border city's Linda Vista neighborhood."

That one irritates me. Apparently the childs wefare comes second to the parents fear of deportation.

Are these children born in the USA or not? If not, they're by law NOT supposed to be attending a US school. Children who do not have a Social Security Card are banned from attending US schools unless there is a "religious or cultural" reason for not having a SS Card. But they STILL have to produce a US Birth Certificate.

As someone said, all they have to do is enforce the laws already on the books and we would not have the illegal alien problem we have now.

The US Government wouldn't allow Elian Gonzalez to stay in the USA but they surely do bend over backwards for all the illegal aliens we have in the Country now. Double Standard?

I understand your point and it is well taken. I do not judge any one group by ethnicity. I don't judge any "group" at all. Racism has no part in my thinking, unless there is a "race" of lawbreakers. Haven't heard about that race yet...I always called them criminals...how about you?
