IMHO, until some tort attorney steps in, this nonsense will always be with us. I'm just repeating second-hand info, and I'm no expert, but a caller to Hannity a couple of days ago claims that photos of the killings clearly shows casings from ammo not used by the marines. AK-47 vs. M-16. Maybe some freepers with special knowledge can follow up on that aspect.
