#230, I like the way you think,LOL!
Don't you understand that only Liberals can be truly objective??
As the Dinosaur slowly turns over onto it's back in the tarpit...

In that same vein samantha, the Dems have already begun the "demonization" campaign against the new Iraqi government. Six months ago they were screaming because their were not enough security personnel...now that there is an acceptable number, their argument is changing to "death squads", infiltrators, and "thugs".
This worked very well for Jimmy Carter when used against the Shah of Iran, it was used by antiwar groups against the South Vietnamese during the war, and they are going to use it now.
They will attempt to paint the new Iraqi government as unworthy of support to bolster their "bug out" strategy.
And according to news reports, she was wearing a white lace top at the hearings... now that's serious journalism!
Prayers for your daughter-in-law's comfort and strength as well as yours.
You are so good with the links... I love it ... however, this one says, Page cannot be opened.
What was it?
Brzesinski says we are not winning and the President has changed his tone from "mission accomplished" and we are treating Iraq as a colonial tutelage. He has a 4 point program. Ask about when we could withdraw. The real Iraqis are the Kurds and the Shiites. He sounds like a crazy person.
I thought so too, until I read more information on Murtha both here at FR and the links provided. Apparently, Murtha has been anti-war and anti-military for some time. He's also been involved in numerous questionable dealings in the past that were not well known until he started in on the Cut and Run tirade.
It looks like there was a Murtha AND a Murphy.

In no small part... also due to the ripple effect of FReepers using their own e-mail lists to get the word out.
;^]
He sounds like a crazy person because he is! :-)
That he refuses to acknowledge any victory in Iraq is typical of the pessimistic democrat liberal idiots. I guess he is saddened by the killing of Zark!
Even Wolfie is now acknowledging the encouraging developments of the Unity Government, Zark killing, and the President's visit.
Brez is just a typical hate america individual, we can't win, we can't do anything right; etc., etc., etc.
Mort and Barnes are just Beltway talking heads.

Fred is completely out-of-touch on the immigration issue... totally clueless!
I agree, but I find their stuff valuable, even so. They represent the view of some of the smarter people inside the beltway. They aren't smart enough to realize that they are wearing blinders and only reacting to that inside the beltway information, but if I recognize those limitations I think their analysis of that point of view is informative.
I take what they say, pro or con on any issue, and use it to gauge what the unreal reality is within that very strange and closed world. I then apply my own analysis given a different point of view and perhaps a broader (though shallower) set of sources. It's also really valuable to give me a clue on what is likely to happen within Congress, regardless of what's going on in the real world.
It is shocking to me, Laverne, the number of people who get into high positions in our government who do not like this country and would willingly do it harm.
Murtha is Unbelievably Clintonesque!!
Kelly, meet mannie... mannie, kelly.
