Thanks so much. It was my daughter-in-law's loss too and she is suffering greatly along with her daughter. The husband was such a good guy and it was so sad about the soldier who stopped to help.
By the way, that soldier's family actually came to Steve's funeral to give condolences to his wife. I thought that was incredible.

To me, Barone is a conservative. I have heard him speak at a CATO seminar I attended. His views certainly sounded conservative.

In the House, Murtha is considered an old-style vote broker who shuns publicity. In spite of his high-level position as ranking Democrat of the Appropriations' defense subcommittee, Murtha generally keeps a low profile and often refuses interviews with the media.

I cannot imagine what your family is going through. What the other soldier did was amazing. He sure learned that from his family didn't he as demonstrated by their visit to your family's services.
Makes me know that God is working in this world in ways that we simply can't pay too much attention to.

I think its interesting, and is someone telegraphing a messge to NBC, that MTP is the ONLY show today that Tony Snow is NOT appearing on? I think the WHite House is beyond disgusted with the lies of NBC, Dim Russert, Matthews, et al, that they refuse to appear on that station.
I got the answer to my question from that post a few minutes later when Timmah came on here:
Did Timmah, by chance, mention the New Republic Media Blog item that captured his comment about Somalia on CNN on Friday? I sent him a note with the links on the "what would you like to ask our guest" web page.
Not only did he not mention, in any way, the NRO piece that points out the total disaster that Clinton's retreat from Somalia was, he let Murtha make the statement again on his show without any comment whatsoever.
Talk about agenda journalism!

Here's a better idea, why don't you provide some evidence that Marines are wearing non-issued helmets in Iraq that they've purchased with their own money, or that Bush has interfered with USMC judicial procedures.
Podesta is a serious anachronism.
