Larry Kudlow was criticizing Ford BIG TIME for his vote on Iraq. Says it was a big mistake and bit disappointment to him, Kudlow.
Evidently Kudlow had some hopes for Ford.

Murtha said 12 Republicans came to him and said they supported the amendment, but couldn't vote for it In which case it still would go down in complete humiliating defeat. A total refutation of everything he said today is show in the fact that 39 Democrat Senators and 43 Democrat Congresscritters voted against Murtha. It was a possible the most complete, humiliating defeat of a Party's leadership by the rank and file in recent US History. A total vote of "NO CONFIDENCE" in the current leadership of the Democrat Party.

Is referring to Karl Rove sitting on his big fat backside Murtha's new catch phrase?

New dem talking point. Any discussion of Iraq by Republicans is 'political'.

The scary thing is, Democrats keep doing this over and over.
IMHO he thinks he's now immunized against any charges and he's beginning to believe his own press notices.
All the Democrats do this. Democrats create the press news and then claim it must be true because they read it in the news.
To: OldFriend
The WSJ is generally more responsible than that. I guess there is nothing for which the president is NOT responsible these days.

That vote was very telling Exactly. Votes count, polls are just so much noise. Leaders lead, political whores read polls.

Does anyone have the names of those 5 who voted "present"?
To: Bernard; YaYa123
Brack Obama is an empty suit, with no accomplishments for anybody to talk about.
Heh?

Murtha, Sheehan, the Jersey Girls, all revelling in the attention from the media.
Attention only garnered because it's anti-American.

Tony Snow, you are a lovely man. It's so good to see an articulate spokesman on the President's side, on the side of America.

Add x42 to that mix, OldFriend. There's something sick about adults who crave attention that much.
To: snugs
That's my understanding. They didn't vote either way....cowards, all imo.
To: snugs
It means they don't have the "back bone" to say publicly what they believe.
