I want Allen to become president,
to me the Webb challenge will only make Allen a more muscular candidate when he starts his national campaign.
If I thought Allen could lose his senate seat, I wouldn't be supporting him for higher office.
Since the MSM will follow Webb's efforts with great enthusiasm it will at the same time, be giving Allen national exposure.
Also note that both Stalin's Communist party and Hitler's Nazi party were Socialist revolutionary movements that blamed "the rich" (rich Jews in the case of Nazism) for all the trouble in the world. Sound familiar?
This state isn't as red as some people put it up to be. Remember that ALlen won his last campaign 52% to 47% and bush won here in 2004 by 54-46
Most of allen's detractors seem to think this is Utah allen is running in where republicans win 70-80% of the vote. Virginia went 52% for bush in 2000 and 54% in 2004.
Also lets remember now, this is not the first veteran Allen has gone up against, chucky robb was a vietnam veteran do.
