New Poll: Americans Say Sen. Hillary Clinton Frightens Them

A recent poll reveals that out of the group of politicians who are regarded as contenders for nomination as presidential candidates, more Americans fear Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY) than any other contender -- Democrat or Republican. According to a just-released Fox News/Opinion Dynamics poll, when asked which candidate frightens you the most, 36% told pollsters Sen. Hillary Clinton. The closest to Clinton's 36% number was former New York City mayor Rudy Guiliani with 17% of Americans saying he frightens them.

Lower on the list with single digits were former Vice President and loser 2000 presidential candidate Al Gore with 8% and Senator John McCain (R-AZ) with 4%.

Clinton had the highest "fright" rating among Republicans, at 58%. Independents also feared Clinton 2-1 over Giuliani, 25% to 12%. Among Democrats, Clinton came in as the second most feared candidate, trailing former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani by just 7 points. The poll was conducted with a sample of 900 Americans made up of 42 percent Democrats, 34 percent Republicans and 19 percent Independents.

She creeps people out (especially women) and consequently she will never be President.

In fact, we should be cheering for her to win the Dem nomination because she is guaranteed to lose.

No, I thought President Bush was the one who frightens people. At least people in the entertainment industry.

Everything frightens those fools. That's why they think they're brave when they make a movie about McCarthy who's been DEAD for 50 years. Idiots.

Rudy Guiliani with 17% of Americans saying he frightens them

As we all know, Giuliani doesn't frighten conservatives. Sure, he annoys some of us, and he certainly doesn't excite us as a prospective Presidential candidate, but he doesn't frighten us.

So the 17% who are frightened of him are the die hard liberals who hate this country. And that is a fairly accurate estimate of the percentage of truly hardcore liberals there are in this country.

Isn't it fun to create a poll to make her look bad?

Maybe that poll should be taken three times a week. The same amount of times the MSM gives the President's poll numbers.

We'll track it right up till their convention. You know the numbers would be over 50% by November.

Yes sir, it is fun when the rabbit has the gun.

I think if we are polled, we should start lying and say we will vote for her 100% to get her numbers up. Nothing better than the Rats putting up a candidate that is sure to lose (and hopefully take down some other Rats with them).
