Has Dan verified this story? KNowing his newsman's disdain for rumors, I'm sure he wouldn't want it going out unless he personally gave the OK to its authenticity.

If CBS liked what Dan Rather did to CBS News they are going to love what Katie Couric does.
It is clear that CBS news is going to merge with CNN news.
No one at CBS or CNN has asked themselves the the following question. What do you get when you combine two losers? The answer is a much bigger loser.
