Documenting Saddam's Link to Terror Sunday , June 11, 2006
Was Saddam Hussein a security threat to the United States? Did the Iraqi dictator have connections to Al Qaeda or other terrorist ties? What happened to the weapons of mass destruction everyone believed were in his possession? Did Saddam move them? Did they ever exist? All of those questions have been dogging President George W. Bush and his administration since the start of the Iraq war. Politicians and respected U.S. military and intelligence officials have weighed in publicly on both sides of the debate, but until recently the general public has had little of the information necessary to make a fully informed decision on its own. But that is changing. The U.S. government seized thousands of classified Iraqi government papers when Saddam's regime was toppled, and Washington recently released a trove of these documents on the Pentagon's Foreign Military Studies Office Web site. The documents, many in Arabic and with no accompanying translation, provide multiple insights into events inside pre-war Iraq.

The info has been there all along.
The "general public" has "little of the information...to make a "decision" for two very obvious reasons.
1) Sheeple are sheeple.
2) The LSM. "We make the news we want you to know about."
The outright lies from the 'Rat side....disgusting.
The wheels are really coming off all the dems wet dreams. I love it.
If we found a goose crapping positive proof that they had WMD, the drive by media would ignore it any way....
Its just nice to see Fox News posting it on their website.
Good Job Fox News
Most excellent news :)
How would the public really feel if they knew the MSN was concealing their knowledge of these documents and translations.
I have been corresponding with a gentleman who states their are members in the MSM who already have this information and knowledge but for some strange reason they neglect to report it?
I love it, too, but that's about the worst mixed metaphor I've ever seen. :)
Saddam had plenty of time to hide this stuff, including transferring it to Syria. I have no doubt whatever that these documents will continue to expose the leftists' lies about the "nonexistence" of WMDs.
How did we find a pile of Chinese silkworm missiles in one part of Iraq built with hollowed out heads for WMD's while simultaneously finding in another area of Iraq sarin or mustard gas that could easily be fitted into those silkworm missiles but still it isn't considered Weapons of Mass Destruction?
"but until recently the general public has had little of the information necessary to make a fully informed decision on its own.
The info has been there all along."
Sure is...
The astonishingly low quality of reportage by the Drive-By Media continues to amaze, and depress me.
Journalism, particularly the television variety, has become a bizzare amalgam of Max Headroom and Mad Max...
they are never at a loss for words, but their words hardly ever mean anything useful or informative.
It's all memes, talking points and chatter used to fit a template.
