Republicans prevented more than 350,000 voters in Ohio from casting ballots or having their votes counted -- enough to have put John Kerry in the White House.
Like many Americans, I spent the evening of the 2004 election watching the returns on television and wondering how the exit polls, which predicted an overwhelming victory for John Kerry, had gotten it so wrong. By midnight, the official tallies showed a decisive lead for George Bush -- and the next day, lacking enough legal evidence to contest the results, Kerry conceded. Republicans derided anyone who expressed doubts about Bush's victory as nut cases in ''tinfoil hats,'' while the national media, with few exceptions, did little to question the validity of the election. The Washington Post immediately dismissed allegations of fraud as ''conspiracy theories,''(1) and The New York Times declared that ''there is no evidence of vote theft or errors on a large scale.''(2)
But despite the media blackout, indications continued to emerge that something deeply troubling had taken place in 2004. Nearly half of the 6 million American voters living abroad(3) never received their ballots -- or received them too late to vote(4) -- after the Pentagon unaccountably shut down a state-of-the-art Web site used to file overseas registrations.(5) A consulting firm called Sproul & Associates, which was hired by the Republican National Committee to register voters in six battleground states,(6) was discovered shredding Democratic registrations.(7) In New Mexico, which was decided by 5,988 votes,(8) malfunctioning machines mysteriously failed to properly register a presidential vote on more than 20,000 ballots.(9) Nationwide, according to the federal commission charged with implementing election reforms, as many as 1 million ballots were spoiled by faulty voting equipment -- roughly one for every 100 cast.(10)

I don't think so. I think this guy is from the 40's or 50's. Gauthier was more 60's.
Robert F Kennedy Jr:
Brother of Joseph P Kennedy III who was the driver of a Jeep that overturned, paralyzing (for life) a young woman who was a passenger.
Brother of David Kennedy, who died of a heroin OD in a Palm Beach hotel room.
Brother of Michael Kennedy who,at the time of his accidental death (the result of breathtaking stupidity on his part),was under active, intense investigation by police for statutory rape and molestation.
Brother of Rory Kennedy, who married an IRA terrorist.
Cousin of Michael Skakil who just couldn't resist the temptation to thrust the shaft of his father's golf club into the neck of a young girl living nearby.
The reason they want to keep the focus on Ohio (Democrats (kerry) lost by ? 175000 ?) is because of the states that were stolen - by them. My intimate knowledge is of Wisconsin (Kerry one by about TWELVE THOUSAND). It was on the news last week, they finished purging the Milwaukee voter registration rolls of dead and moved etc. They had ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND bad voting records.
Never forget Philadelphia where there were more votes than living residents
and here was a report in Colorado.
Look who is back on drugs again.
The GOP used the Rove Mind Control Device, or the RMCD. It only works on democrats by broadcasting subliminal waves that keep repeating on election day, "It's still Monday, it's still Monday....."
The IRONY of this articles premise based on the author is unbearable.
is there anyway to get that article wiothout paying salon? I can't seem to join for free as adverstised..
I think it was stolen in a few midwestern states but not the way the democrats want to talk about.

"Craziest thing I've ever seen," said one poll watcher. "They had 100 tables and just five poll watchers trying to monitor them. Every table had a pile of empty ballots. If the machine rejected a ballot, the workers would just take a fresh ballot, fill it in the way they thought the voter wanted (Detroit voted heavily for Kerry), and then put THAT ballot through the machine." The poll watcher also reported unsigned ballots being counted in the machines, a violation of absentee procedures.
Yep - revisionist history.
When I went to vote in the primary here in Arkansas a few weeks back - my name was on the roll, but the lady in front of me and the man behind me did not appear on the roll - both were wanting a Republican ballot, and both are REGULAR voters (have voted in every election in the last 20 years +) and have not moved in many years.
I found that highly suspicious - but not unusual in a state that the voter rolls are kept and maintained by a hard core democrat.
But this article is one of the biggest pieces of trash reporting I have EVERY seen.
Anyone check out the references in the article ---- amazing pattern to them.... check for yourself.
I'm sorry, I missed Mr. Kennedy's detailed analysis of Wisconsin and Pennsylvania - two states that went for Kerry, were much closer, and have a LOT of questions regarding how the voting was done.
Until I see a Dem include at least one of these states when looking at Ohio, I won't waste my time listening to them.

And people think Coulter is sinking into the gutter by demonstrating such contempt for these jackasses.
This was written by a guy who has no excuse for his ludicrous delusions. He ISN'T crazy. He ISN'T retarded. He ISN'T a doped-up alcoholic....Ahhh, I ALWAYS go too far...
Yeah, but that started with the older generation (Teddy).
NONE of this was ever proven to be true, how these people like to try to rewrite history again and again, so ridiculous, we shouldn't even respond.

ALSO, GW took Florida big, and I mean big, if Florida why not Ohio, as I said stupid and I mean stupid.
