Lethally blonde
Ann Coulter has made a career out of saying the unthinkable. Last week the bestselling American author caused outrage when she described the widows of 9/11 as 'witches' who revelled in their husbands' deaths. Mixing soundbites with short skirts, this former lawyer has become the most extreme - and popular - polemicist in America. How did that happen?

What I didn't appreciate was John suggesting a good Christian wouldn't be so tough on others. I guess he never read John the Baptist's comments (or Christ's directed at the Pharisees). Paul wished the Galatian gnostics would castrate themselves. Namby pamby is not what these men were.

Actually John was pretty rotten to her or at least I thought so. Agreed! He admitted to not having read the book, yet he asked her if she felt bad about slamming the widows of September 11! Unbelieveable. Why do we need him to echo the talking points of the character assasins?

What a crock! Coulter's 45. The only way she could be a stay-at-home mom at her age is get married next week and have a kid the next day. And she knows that.
>>
She loves throwing red meat, and she knows, because she's blonde and skinny, men who fantasize making love to a piranha will always come to her defense, no matter what she does.
Coulter made a choice a long time ago, she's acting on that choice, and would never have it any other way. She would die without the publicity and, now, without the money.
<<
Sinkspur, you have revealed yourself to be a poisonous cynical Liberal, you should be expunged from this forum entirely, you interloper !
Ann Coulter is a faithful passionate conservative who does not cave in to pressure -
Ann and Ann Coulter alone have stood up to the forces of Political Correctness and not backed down - that is feat a that even Howard Stern has not kept 100% perfect !
Maybe Bill Maher ~ ~ ~ ~

Ann Coulter has made a career out of saying the unthinkable. Last week the bestselling American author caused outrage when she described the widows of 9/11 as 'witches' who revelled in their husbands' deaths. She most certainly did not. She was referring to certain individuals, not "the widows of 9/11." The left lies, and lies, and lies - what total hypocrisy to accuse her of bad taste and when you are blatantly lying like this yourself.
To: A CA Guy
Exactly. They are lying. Blatantly.

Actually John was pretty rotten to her or at least I thought so. John can be a little bit of a RINO at times. Yes. Something happened to Kasich that led him to abruptly leave the Congress. Maybe an FBI file in the Clintonoid whore house on Pennsylvania Avenue. He has been gimpy ever since. A great disappointment. When he was Chair of House Budget Committee he looked like he was destined for greatness. Now he chats his life away on a half-baked cable talk show. Sad.

From a June 27, 2004 article by Julian Colman in the Telegraph re the Jersey Girl Widows: Debra Burlingame, a Democrat, whose brother Charles was the pilot of the plane that crashed into the Pentagon: "People held back from criticizing the relatives because of who they were. But what's happening is that this prominent group of activists have become THE ROCK STARS OF GRIEF (emphasis mine)in this country. I think people are getting sick of them because they are being so demanding."

Yes! It is curious to see Ann's expert use of linguistic decor, her razor-sharp metaphors and high-style hyperbole pass right over the head of this lofty Brit columnist. But there are moments you can tell that he (or she? Gaby?) just doesn't get it.

Think Janet Reno. I'm sorry, but that is the ugliest woman on earth.
You are wrong. Helen ThomASS is first, ReNO is second. Take your picks from there down.

Say, I'm not sure ... my memory could be faulty on this ... but didn't John Kerry spend a little time over there as a budding fiction writer and part-time gun-toter?

The section of the book so willingly and ably magnified by the MSM is short and incidental so as to make them demonstrate precisely the liberal doctrine of infallibility (by virtue of victimhood) she was writing about in the first place.

Every journalist is following the dishonest lead of the Democrats in mis-describing what Coulter said. They are trying to make it sound as though she attacked ALL widows of 9/11 when in fact she was specifically discussing the FOUR so-called "Jersey Girls" who formed a leftist activist group to work to distort the history and lessons of 9/11 on behalf of the Demagogic Party. We are watching the work of lying demagogues once again. fwiw, I am one who thinks Ann Coulter should have stayed away from talking about these women's marriages, etc. and I've criticized her for that -- but it is wildly dishonest for journalists and Demagogues to pretend she was attacking all 9/11 widows. The passage in her book is quite clearly and explicitly about the 4 notorious "Jersey Girls"........
