Was Al-Zarqawi Beaten After Bombing?
CBS/AP ^ | June 10, 2006

Posted on 06/10/2006 10:32:23 AM PDT by Lacey

CBS/AP) An Iraqi man who was one of the first people on the scene of the U.S. airstrike targeting Abu Musab al-Zarqawi said he saw American troops beating a man who had a beard like the al Qaeda leader.

The witness, who lives near the house where al-Zarqawi spent his last days, said he saw the man lying on the ground near an irrigation canal. He was badly wounded but still alive, the man told Associated Press Television News.

U.S. troops arriving on the scene wrapped the man's head in an Arab robe and began beating him, said the local man, who refused to give his name or show his face to the camera. His account could not be independently verified.

the world court has finally tracked down the citizens responsible for killing Mussolini, the suspects are to be charged with crimes against humanity, and violating the Geneva Conventions on prisoner treatment.

Can't we get some brave real reporters on the ground to get the facts? Kimberly Dozier, where are you when we need you? Oh, I forgot, taken out by an IED with zark's name on it.

It was only a matter of time. Next, this will morph into torture. Then we are going to find out that the intel that led us to his safehouse was a result of torture. Just wait. Enemy sympathizers are working behind the scenes.

Thank you for using the words "enemy sympathizers." It's about time we start calling the anti-war left what they truly are.

Iraqis celebrate ......

while the traitorous MSM mourns.

Dan Rather: "Oh, Mr. President, if only you knew how
much I and your other servants at CBS support, worship, bow, grovel and kneel to you.
We will NEVER let American forces hurt you. Trust us.
We have faithfully covered up all your atrocities, Mr. President. In their place we attack our Bush,
for you will forever know that CBS is forever with you and all terrorists, our Mr. President."

Terrorist-Murderer Saddam: "Mr, Rather, it is absolutely remarkable that you girly men at CBS
repeatedly betray your own country.
Do you realize, Mr. Rather, that for millions of Iraqis who were my captives
I previously had to gang rape each man's child and each man's wife,
and then burn them each of them in nitric acid and muriatic acid,
and then mutilate them by cutting off at an ear or their genitals,
or by forcing them to watch my sons push their raped children through a wood shredder.
But even then, Mr. Rather, I got only get a fraction of YOUR obedience and loyalty.
Thank you, Mr. Rather. You and CBS are truly Allah's messenger in our Jihad against America."

Can you just imagine the American press complaining that FDR was at fault for WW2, not Hitler or Mussolini.

Or when Hitler was discovered dead in his bunker and Mussolini was hanged from a lamp post, that American troops must have been guilty of abusing them?

The Jordanian Intelligence Service got the intel. They don't torture, do they?

. I hope we cremate the remains and scatter them in a pig sty.

According to Brian Suits, Seattle talk show host who served as an officer in Baghdad until recently, saw incredible brutality, and knows many people in Iraq, many Iraqis are calling for Z's remains to be diced into small pieces and wrapped in a pigskin for burial, thus denying him any hope of "paradise." Problem is, pigskins are very hard to find in Iraq. LOL.

As for the alleged beating, I truly doubt it, as Z would have been more valuable to us alive, drugged, and talking.

" he witnessed U.S. soldiers beating a man with a beard. "

Well, unless it was a *really* heavy beard, it shouldn't have hurt very much.

You forgot the "Ba bom Bom"

An Iraqi man

Another credible anonymous source from DNCBS. More than likely pure fiction just made up from the Anti-America reporter.

Murtha was outraged by the cold-blooded beating after the cold-blooded bombing.
