his last mumbled words?
"Taaaake yourrr fooottt offf myy chessst" ,,
Iraqi police were the first reportedly on scene.
He reportedly tried to roll off of the gurney when US troops arrived on scene as if to flee..

Well, not "fitting" so much. If it was "fitting" one of those 500 pounders woulda been "fitting" right up his arse before it cooked off.

I hope the last thing that b@stard saw was one of our guys smiling and staring in his eyes while everything grew dark, that smirking satisfaction being the very last thing his brain ever registered as he slipped slowly away.

"Well, not "fitting" so much. If it was "fitting" one of those 500 pounders woulda been "fitting" right up his arse before it cooked off." I'm glad he lived for a time after the bombing, because he got to see our troops surrounding him on his death bed and he knew the gig was up. I'm sure he also knew that we'd get hold of some very serious information in his rat hole. So he got to see his whole world go up in smoke as he lay dying, and that's very fitting.

Naaahh, he wouldn't have felt that, he died just right. It took him 10 minutes go, or so they say. He was able to wiggle on the stretcher, so to some degree his nervous system was intact, hence he was feeling pain.

A somewhat bitter-sweet end if you ask me. I'm glad he's in hell, but I'd be more satisfied hade he been captured by angry Iraqi civillians, skinned alive, and staked to the ground to be eaten by insects. Oh well, que sera.

Works for me, and that one mission among many missions has been accomplished indeed.

Rush mentioned boxes with severed heads (many of them boys) near the safehouse. Can anyone verify that story?
To: Clive
"Ol' Abu?" Abu means "father of." It's a description, not a name. What do you expect from the culture that produced "The Da Vinci Code," I guess.

As Big Jim McBob and Billy Sol Hurok would say on SCTV,
"he got blow'd up real good".

I'm glad his sorry face survived sufficiently intact to make that photograph. It was the visual that convinced a couple billion people that
He's Dead!.
If we had had to claim his death on the basis of DNA analysis of specs of flesh, it would have been far less persuasive.
As Zarqawi well knew, those visuals are valuable.
