I'm glad his sorry face survived sufficiently intact to make that photograph. It was the visual that convinced a couple billion people that He's Dead!.
If we had had to claim his death on the basis of DNA analysis of specs of flesh, it would have been far less persuasive.
As Zarqawi well knew, those visuals are valuable.
