Model Democrat ah? When you consider that the mascot for the Dems is a Donkey, it seems to me that Dizzy Dean is correct on this observation.

In model...I assume Howie means Al's posture is stiff enought to be reminiscient of an erector-set-built figure.

Gore/Dean 2008.
For a result worse (for Dems) than Mondale/Ferraro.

Gee, I'd rather sign the petition thanking him for being the inspiration for the movie "Love Story"
- for investigating and finding the "Love Canal"
- for inventing the internet
- for leading the charge to disallow absentee ballots for all the military serving overseas
Al is a really swell guy; he'd make a great cigar store indian, oooops, he already is.

Is this just a convenient way of Dean/DNC drawing attention to global warming issue or an issue that Gore's people think will put him back on the map? What will Hillary Clinton do with Howard Dean if she seeks the nomination?
More and more Gore's flick seems like an intentional rollout to something much bigger. An issue-oriented flick, designed to fire up the D base [??], released 18 or so months before decision time... if it looks and quacks like a duck, it must be a duck.
