Iraqi PM: Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi Killed

BAGHDAD, Iraq Jun 8, 2006 (AP)— Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the al-Qaida-linked militant who led a bloody campaign of suicide bombings, kidnappings and hostage beheadings in Iraq, has been killed in a U.S. air raid north of Baghdad, Iraq's prime minister said Thursday.

Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said al-Zarqawi was killed Wednesday evening along with seven aides.

Hi sw...OT but I wanted to thank you again for the post and links on your trip to Lapland. My wife was really impressed, really enjoyed it...still won't agree to go there in winter...LOL

I'll ping you when I put the Italy trip out (sometime this week) you SHOULD visit there. Italians are the nicest people (on the whole) that I've met over here. Americans are treated very nice by Italians. Thats the other thing, I will always treat tourists to America nicely, regardless of where they come from.. partly to say thanks and partly to show them HOW they should treat visitors (heh heh heh).
