It's on ABC Late Night News Right Now
ABC News Update:
BAGHDAD, Iraq Jun 8, 2006 (AP) Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the al-Qaida-linked militant who led a bloody campaign of suicide bombings, kidnappings and hostage beheadings in Iraq, has been killed in a U.S. air raid north of Baghdad, Iraq's prime minister said Thursday.
Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said al-Zarqawi was killed Wednesday evening along with seven aides.

They really are. Someone posted a link to the DU site. Half of them over there don't believe there was a Zarqawi, he's a made up character for psyhcops. Insane? That's an understatement.
exactly,
i dont think anyone will be pumping up for this new open slot at the top....and the fact that they got the spiritual leader is a major blow as well...i expect them to blow hard in the next day or so but no doubt about it, there is a lot of terrorists scanning the skies this morning with a faint odour of pee off them...
cant wait till bin laden hears it, that his butt boy in iraq is smoking...
Take just a little time and think through the consequences to us, the world at large and the Iraqis themselves, of our leaving Iraq and bringing the troops home at this point!
Ask yourself why we are still in Germany, Japan and Korea and what would have happened if we had pulled out of those countries quickly and left them to fend for themselves against the wolves surrounding them and the wolves within.
If there is ever to be a chance for the muslim countries to avoid annihilation(because of their growing technical advances) from a religious war they will start because of the demands of their religion and fit into a world community, then this is it, we are it(the chances of it working are slim to none without replacing their religion, but at least we are giving them the chance showing them a different way).
Anybody just hear on Laura Ingraham how Imus (surprisingly) just nailed a reporter re: the news of Z man being killed and the reaction in Iraq? It was great...even for IMUS
When your symbols are all killed, there's nobody left to motivate you.
Look at how pathetic the Palies are after Arafat.
>>This will have more Iraqis diming out (or dinahring out) terrorists among them as they lose their fear.<<
They are showing people dancing in the streets and a story of a baker giving out free bread to celebrate.
It's great that this mutt has assumed room temperature. It would have been nice to see him beheaded in a public square. Thanks to our military for making the world a little safer.
Gee, I guess it was Bush's fault.
>>Anybody just hear on Laura Ingraham how Imus (surprisingly) just nailed a reporter re: the news of Z man being killed and the reaction in Iraq? It was great...even for IMUS<
Cool.
MSNBC said said Tony Blair reports good news "even if it has to be tinged with caution."
Quite.
No kidding? The media is REALLY doing everything they can do downplay the tactics the terrorists use, aren't they? This is absolute PROOF.
Mark Ginsberg, a former ambassador to the Middle East, just said that very thing.
There is no obvious number two in Iraq, nor has there been a scramble to become a visible successor to Zarqawi.
He also said this is the way movements are killed. The informant, supposedly, was an Iraqi. That's how the mob was virtually destroyed in New York, from within.
Nobody knows who to trust any longer.
Many DU posters say Zarqawi was a fictional character....
You're more than welcome; I couldn't capture very many of Rumsfeld's comments because I got another phone call. My neighbors are celebrating, but then they're mostly older and understand what a big kill this is.
Imus was asking about the reaction in Iraq to Z being killed, reported said there was a bomb that killed several people, Imus asked "how do we know that was a reaction to what had happened"...reported said he had conflicting info in his earpiece or something like that......total call out on the LSM agenda....Yea for Imus...just once.
Someone on FNC just said they think AQ is finished in Iraq.
you got that right... Dixie Chicks and MSM along with all other libs are sooooooooooo upset that we would kill Zarqawi
