ABC News Update:
BAGHDAD, Iraq Jun 8, 2006 (AP)— Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the al-Qaida-linked militant who led a bloody campaign of suicide bombings, kidnappings and hostage beheadings in Iraq, has been killed in a U.S. air raid north of Baghdad, Iraq's prime minister said Thursday.
Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said al-Zarqawi was killed Wednesday evening along with seven aides.

No, it's the video of Zarqawi's body. Earlier in the morning, one of the networks announced that they would be showing video of the attack and video proof of Z's body.
A little while later, they just reiterated "video of the attack" and said they might not be able to air the Z-body video.

Anyway, I *like* mine.
I've believed for a long time that Berg's insane behavior derives from the probability that he himself sent Nick to Iraq to establish contact with the enemy. After Nick's horrible death his dad only had one avenue to try to stay sane...self denial.
I will repeat, I still think Berg's father sent him over there to contact the terrorists for the left. Because it was HIS fault that Nick was there, he transfers blame to someone he already disliked...George Bush.
That's the best news one could hear....the recognition of the people of Iraq of the sacrifices of the USA on their behalf.

73. Not to mention the fact that it does nothing to change the situation in Iraq. I was just watching the "wall-to-wall" coverage on the Cable networks, and they are acting like its all over now, we can all sleep well, the bogeyman is dead, the situation in Iraq will finally become peaceful and all is well....
Sadly, for a few days, this will be the only thing talked about and meanwhile we will hit the 2,500th death of US troops and will anyone be paying attention?

OMG - in the replay of the announcement just now, there was the sound in the background of the burqa lady "ululating" very loudly and shrilly. But this time, she was on *our side* - cheering for Z's death.
