Considering that we have survived all the previous 6-6-06's, I presume we'll muddle our way through another.

Seems like no one remembers that June 6, 2006 is also the 62nd anniversary of D-Day.

I think the antichrist has to be from Europe and have some sort of head wound, right?

When Revelations was written, Arabic numerals were not in use. Either Hebrew or Greek letters or Roman numerals would have been in the original text. I don't know any Greek, but I think the Hebrew letters would have been tet, tet, tet, while the roman numerals would have been DCLXVI.
But, then, I'm a Jew. I don't believe any of this.

I believe that the remake of "The Omen" comes out tomorrow too. Hopefully, it will crash and burn. Why they (Hollyweird) would try to remake a movie that was once the high-point of horror movies, as well as one of the first "big budget, real movie star" horror movies is just mind boggling. At least with Psycho, they didn't bother trying to rewrite it, or change any of the scenes.
The original movie scared the willies out of me... I saw it in a theater as a "sneak preview" one night when I was about 14 years old, by my self, and I had nightmares for weeks.

The only reason that I can think of going to see the new version is to see Julia Stiles. She's a hottie.

According to Robert Heinlein, "The Number of the Beast," actually referrs to the number of "alternate universes," and the number is actually ((6 to the 6th power) to the 6th power), which works out to ... a really big number!

'Actually, it would be "Vav," "Vav," "Vav."'
You are correct. For some reason, I got stuck on the upside down 6's, and gave the digits for 999. My face is red, and I humbly apologize.

This is no joke. The odometer of my new car hit 666 today while it was 66 degrees outside. I tried to go 66 mph when this happened but there was a state trooper right behind me.

Still waiting for a sign, a portent, an ominous occurrence that will validate all the paranoia. I did step on a bug on the sidewalk today but I don't think that was it...
