2002 Document: Chemical Material Hidden Underground (Translation)
Pentagon/FMSO website Iraqi Pre-War documents ^ | June 2 2006 | jveritas

Document Document ISGQ-2003-00004530 dated September 15 2002 is a memo from a General in Saddam Feedayeens to the Supervisor of those Feedayeens who is not other than Uday Saddam Hussein. The memo talks about a hidden large container that contain a Chemical Material and that it was buried under the ground near Fallujah back when Hussein Kamal Hussein was in charge of the Iraqi Military Industrialization Commission. Hussein Kamal was the brother in law of Saddam who fled to Jordan in 1995 exposed to the world that Saddam still have WMD and then Saddam tricked him to come back by granting him amnesty. When he returned to Iraq he was killed by the regime. If what in this document is true that this shows that one of the obvious way to hide the WMD was to bury it under the ground and in this case the difficulty of finding it in a country the size of California.

Beginning of the translation of Document ISGQ-2003-00004530 page 1 and 2.

The Respected Supervisor of Saddam Feedayeens

Subject: Information

Salute and regards Sir

We received information that state the following:

1. A team from the Military Industrialization Commission when Hussein Kamel Hussein was conducting his responsibilities did bury a large container said that it contains a Chemical Material in the village (Al Subbayhat) part of the district of Karma in Fallujah in a quarry region that was used by SamSung Korean company and close to the homes of some citizens.

2. The container was buried using a fleet of concrete mixers.

3. Before the departure of the international inspectors in 1998 a United Nations helicopter flew over the region for two hours.

4. A large number of the region residents know about this container from the large number of machines used to hide it then.

5. It was noticed a non ordinary smell in the region.

6. No official visited the burial site through out the years which give the impression that it is not currently known by the Military Industrialization Commission.

7. Positions for the air defense were digged in the region that surrounds the quarry place without them knowing anything about the container. Also next to it are important headquarters like (Saddam factories-The warehouses of the Commerce ministry- Headquarters of Mujaheeden Khlaq).

Please your Excellency review and order what is appropriate Sir… With regards

Signature

Depending on the size of the container, it shouldn't;t be hard to locate with ground penetrating sensors due to the density of concrete versus normal soil. Also once soil is excavated it can never be restored to its regular compaction (density).

Democrats never thought of Saddam burying it underground.

DemonRATs knew/know that the WMD's were there - they don't care as long as they can make people believe the BIG LIE (per the Communist Party handbook.)

At this point, I wonder if they weren't complicit with the parties that helped in the cover-up - what webs, if found, might lead back to, not only people in the UN, France, Russia and Germany that were in on the big bucks from 'oil for food' but people here in the states, maybe even in high places???

Nah, we don't have anyone in Washington that would stoop to bribes......forget I even thought it

Perhaps that's what they meant by "order what is appropriate Sir", since 5. It was noticed a non ordinary smell in the region.

Anytime. Thanks for what you are doing. It's nice to see the simple research (homework) I did prior to the invasion confirmed by the documents you are translating.

People don't realize how easy it is to hide this stuff given the proper time and resources.

Just as Saddam create caches of conventional weapons all over the country (which we find daily), he did the same with many of his WMDs.

People also have to understand that chemical and biological weapons are not that hard to make and can be produced with "dual use" equipment. The same factory that makes fertilizer or baby-milk formula can be quickly switched to the production of bio or chemical weapons. Saddam had dozens of such facilities, including mobile labs which we found, but which had been sanitized.

The key to identifying them as such is the medical grade of the equipment. Highly polished stainless steel containers, for example, have no pores in which to leave chemical residue after cleaning. A factory designed just for fertilizer would not justify that expense.

Remember the "baby-milk" factory were accused of bombing in the first gulf war? It really was a baby-milk factory--when it wasn't producing biological agents like anthrax and botulinin toxins. This was proved by UNSCOM inspectors.

All one needs is to hide a suitcase full of the "seed" germs, and you can later re-constitute your bio-weapons program.

The big danger for the Iraqis will be a decade or two from now when these cache sites start leaking their contents into the environment.

More good work jveritas. Just one such document as this that you've translated could end up being the small lead that breaks the WMD thing wide open. Hopefully this one will be checked out thoroughly.

Would this be Samsung Electronics Co. or Samsung Semiconductor Inc.?
