the rumor of their impending divorce is as highly exaggerated as the story of Mark Twain's death while he was still alive and kicking. This writer is not funny.

Dan Rather said if he was getting a divorce he wanted to be the first to break the story.

THE DAN Rathers of New York and Austin, Texas... Just to make this clear, because Liz certainly didn't make it clear: Was she writing about him and his wife, or about Dan's split personalities?

Well, I hope if the Rathers do file for divorce, she doesn't let ol' Danny type it up for her.

There is no divorce. The marriage certificate is valid, notwithstanding the peripheral fonts and superscript characters where Dan Rather's name is typed in.

"Dan received the NAB Distinguished Service Award for lifetime achievement"
I could not care less about the state of this bozo's marriage, but I am stunned with jaw-dropping nausea by the report that Dan Blather has received this "lifetime achievement" award from the National Assn. of Broadcasters!! This means that the NAB honchos are trying to rewrite history already, to pretend that Rathergate was just some trivial blip and no negative reflection upon the lying fraudster that is Dan Blather.

Since Mark Twain is, in fact, dead, then the gist of this is the divorce is coming, it's just a matter of time.

Liz Smith is an 83 year old bisexual. She's always been a Dem hack, but her age is dramatically showing, re: I don't know what the ratings are for this popular show, WTF? She's lost it. She gets printed for the same reason Ann Landers and Dear Abby keep getting printed. Newspapers are about as forward looking as drunk Russians (or am I repeating myself?), and they continue to run the same tired cr@p because they aren't getting new readers, and they don't want to hack off the old ones.

Wait a minute. Liz (apparently unknowling) basically admits she is biased and not just Rather-biased. Rather threw her a hugh bone. Dano is putting her on TV! The MSM no longer even pretends their puff pieces to salvage reputations don't produce quid pro quos.
Wonder what some recent writers got out of their glorifying the Dixie chicks puff works.
