A preliminary military inquiry found evidence that U.S. Marines killed two dozen Iraqi civilians in an unprovoked attack in November, contradicting the troops’ account, U.S. officials said on Wednesday.
President George W. Bush said he was troubled by news stories on the November 19 killings of men, women and children in the town of Haditha, and a general at the Pentagon said the incident could complicate the job for the 130,000 U.S. troops in Iraq.
“Allegations such as this, regardless of how they are borne out by the facts, can have an effect on the ability of U.S. forces to continue to operate,” Army Brig. Gen. Carter Ham, deputy director for regional operations for the military’s Joint Staff, told a Pentagon briefing.

Second, "unprovoked" is consistent with the Terrorists whacking these seemingly innocent victims in the staged incident.
Third, how in hell did Murtha "know" these innocent women and children (a) were pleading, (b) in English, (c) with their eyes closed, (d) in prayer position and hangs together?

Wrong - It was another of the girls (there are 3 children talking now that were involved) - The girl that clearly states they were aware of the IED, they didn't leave for school that morning because they were waiting for it to blow up...and they knew exactly when it was going to go off (and in anticipation covered her ears)...she was 10 years old.
She was speaking freely to a anti-war human rights group. She is not the 13 year old girl who is now currently on her third version of her story....
This was a LOS IED...which means the person who detonated it had to be close by and in a safe zone (likely a house with a view). Which all three of these homes had.
We now know they were at the very least aware of this planted IED (and did nothing to save the truly innocent American soldiers lives)...and it is likely they supported those who planted this IED.
You're delusional. It's not about who's side someone is on. It's about getting at the truth in a rational sort of way. Everyone in the chain of command, including the CinC, is commenting on the subject. They're are not doing that because they live in your fantasy world.

Innocent until proven guilty is the standard for a court of law. If no one could as much as comment or speculate until a verdict is rendered in every single court case in this country, there'd have been no discussion about OJ or any discussion now about the Duke LaCrosse case.
